No @lil soyboy, they celebrate bc it's hilarious and they love to portray everything that shouldn't be: e.g celebrating after a huge loss, calling a song ode to the mets with no references to the team or baseball, then making a baseball music clip for a song in the album that is not named ode to the mets.

Lyrics : They've been sayin', "You're sophisticated" They're complainin', overeducated You are saying all the words I'm dreaming Say it after me Say it after me They will blame us, crucify and shame us We can't help it if we are a problem We are tryin' hard to get your attention I'm climbin' up your wall Climbin' up your wall Don't go there 'cause you'll never return I know you think of me when you think of her But then it don't make sense when you're tryin' hard To do the right thing but without recompense And then you did something wrong and you said it was great And now you don't know how you could ever complain Because you're all confused 'cause you want me to But then you want me to do it the same as you You were waitin' for the elevator You were sayin' all the words I'm dreaming No more askin' questions or excuses Information's here Here and everywhere Don't go there 'cause you'll never return I know you think of me when you think of her But then it don't make sense when you're tryin' hard To do the right thing but without recompense And then you did something wrong and you said it was great And now you don't know how you could ever complain Because you're all confused 'cause you want me to But then you want me to do it the same way as you, and, but I don't, I don't want anything I know it's not, it's not your fault I don't want anyone Always I do, it's not for you Ah Ooh Stockholders Same shit, a different lie I'll get it right sometime Oh, maybe not tonight Oh, maybe not tonight Oh, maybe not tonight Oh, maybe not tonight Oh, maybe not tonight Hello? Yeah, boy, here we go And a-one, and a-two, and a-three Here we go, friends Hold on, I can't- Maybe that's kooky situation So, let's go back to the old key, old tempo, everything Okay

I was in the oncology department at Heidelberg Hospital with my father and his wife. We were in a good mood because the consultation there was great. Then went to a restaurant, where this song was playing quietly in the background. I had never heard it before, but I couldn't stop listening or listen to my father 😁. So I quickly started Shazam on my phone and just held it up in the air. Thank God Shazam recognized this song and that's how I came across this Song - unfortunately much sooo late - in 2024! This is a song that I would never have forgotten and probably would never have left my head if I hadn't found it ❤️

The most meaningful part of this video for me wouldn't be how they are celebrating their single victory against the machines, but how the machines simply turn off after the game ends.To them it's just a task they were programed to do, then flipping the switch. No celebration, no emotion, no joy. Something that will forever be a trait exclusive to Humanity.

for me it has to do more with the fact that the machine could not be perfect for they were able to score one point. In addition, I think that it also that about morale and how a natural situation can be a boost for humans to have some sense of hope.

The choking up on the bat was just a beautiful little tribute to baseball. I’m glad to see someone who knows baseball worked on the production of this video. For those who don’t know, batters will choke up (or put their grip higher up) on the bay to increase their quickness to the ball. This is usually done in tense situations, as while you are choked up on the bat you reduce the amount of weight you will be hitting the ball with, therefore reducing power, however increasing your ability to make contact. In tense situations, it’s best to make small increments of improvement rather than trying to fix the problem all at once. This is a wonderful song and a music video that was crafted with love. Thanks for listening to this baseball nerd ramble on ;)

Lyrics They've been sayin', "You're sophisticated" They're complainin', overeducated You are saying all the words I'm dreaming Say it after me Say it after me They will blame us, crucify and shame us We can't help it if we are a problem We are tryin' hard to get your attention I'm climbin' up your wall Climbin' up your wall Don't go there 'cause you'll never return I know you think of me when you think of her But then it don't make sense when you're tryin' hard To do the right thing but without recompense And then you did something wrong and you said it was great And now you don't know how you could ever complain Because you're all confused 'cause you want me to But then you want me to do it the same as you You were waitin' for the elevator You were sayin' all the words I'm dreaming No more askin' questions or excuses Information's here Here and everywhere Don't go there 'cause you'll never return I know you think of me when you think of her But then it don't make sense when you're tryin' hard To do the right thing but without recompense And then you did something wrong and you said it was great And now you don't know how you could ever complain Because you're all confused 'cause you want me to But then you want me to do it the same way as you, and, but I don't, I don't want anything I know it's not, it's not your fault I don't want anyone Always I do, it's not for you Ah Ooh Stockholders Same shit, a different lie I'll get it right sometime Oh, maybe not tonight Oh, maybe not tonight Oh, maybe not tonight Oh, maybe not tonight Oh, maybe not tonight Hello? Yeah, boy, here we go And a-one, and a-two, and a-three Here we go, friends Hold on, I can't- Maybe that's kooky situation So, let's go back to the old key, old tempo, everything Okay

This video is so great. Such a perfect representation of the song. Basically, celebrate any and all victories you can achieve against the machine that is our present reality. It takes a cleansing (the rain delay) and an error (the bean ball on Jules) on the machine’s part to score a win, but when those stars align, embrace and cherish the moment my friends.

it's an interestesting point, a beaning is not necessarily an error if it's deliberate...and the robot is uh robot...and has intentional robot face prior to beaning...think it was in the ribs or gut...that's intentional purpose pitch and he doesnt get out of way because he's crowding plate or looking away...It's interesting focus.
