No @lil soyboy, they celebrate bc it's hilarious and they love to portray everything that shouldn't be: e.g celebrating after a huge loss, calling a song ode to the mets with no references to the team or baseball, then making a baseball music clip for a song in the album that is not named ode to the mets.

Then went to a restaurant, where this song was playing quietly in the background. I had never heard it before, but I couldn't stop listening or listen to my father 😁. So I quickly started Shazam on my phone and just held it up in the air. Thank God Shazam recognized this song and that's how I came across this Song - unfortunately much sooo late - in 2024! The most meaningful part of this video for me wouldn't be how they are celebrating their single victory against the machines, but how the machines simply turn off after the game ends.To them it's just a task they were programed to do, then flipping the switch. No celebration, no emotion, no joy. Something that will forever be a trait exclusive to Humanity.

The choking up on the bat was just a beautiful little tribute to baseball. I’m glad to see someone who knows baseball worked on the production of this video. For those who don’t know, batters will choke up (or put their grip higher up) on the bay to increase their quickness to the ball. This is usually done in tense situations, as while you are choked up on the bat you reduce the amount of weight you will be hitting the ball with, therefore reducing power, however increasing your ability to make contact. In tense situations, it’s best to make small increments of improvement rather than trying to fix the problem all at once. This is a wonderful song and a music video that was crafted with love. Thanks for listening to this baseball nerd ramble on ;)

it's an interestesting point, a beaning is not necessarily an error if it's deliberate...and the robot is uh robot...and has intentional robot face prior to beaning...think it was in the ribs or gut...that's intentional purpose pitch and he doesnt get out of way because he's crowding plate or looking away...It's interesting focus.

When Julian goes into his high falsetto, it just hits different. Its the same reason I love the track Chances
