I have Borderline Personality Disorder and rest assured not all of us are crazy. Just putting this out there as people with BPD have had a bad reputation recently- we are also extremely caring and passionate people. Who just have shit wrong in their brain. I love the video thank you Bella ❤️
@xLucyferiax4 жыл бұрын
As a borderline I would also like to add its completely curable. Yes, it can take about 10 years in therapy but still it doesn’t have to stay with you all your life. Moreover with time the symptoms are less aggressive and the borderline itself can disappear. I hate when people blame this personality disorder in murder or crime cases. Also the symptoms can show completely differently in every person. There are many people with this disorder, especially women, and still most murder cases are men and without borderline. For most cases borderline make the person with it trying to commit suicide than a murder.

Philosophica its not curable but it is treatable. I know what you're trying to say but its an irreversable disorder. The way your brain is shaped changes permanently. I have BPD as well and have been informed by every doctor that treatment can help me cope with my disorder but my brain will always work differently than the "average" person.

Honestly, stories like these break my heart. So many lives, and generations of that family, has been directly and seriously impacted. To think it all started with alcoholism and anger issues... Obviously, we all have the ability to make choices no matter what. However, our experiences shape us so much. Now her children will be affected in some capacity, and so forth... Also, hope you're staying safe in Australia. I'm so sad that this is happening to such a great country. I wish I could send all of the snow over to you guys.
@mandarinadreux95723 жыл бұрын
Sorry to smart mouth, you probably realise this - but I've recently realised that these sorts of families carry intergenerational trauma that has probably been a part of their family for ever - and it just continues on and on if no one breaks the cycle. Shitty parents, alcoholism, anger creates chaos creates mentally disordered children who often go on to become shitty parents again. And then, there might also be a genetic factor involved. So, I would disagree it all started with anger issues and alcoholism. I think, before that, there were already many generations of really shitty familiy dynamics.

what i wonder is how much working in a slaughterhouse influenced her. i was reading recently how opening a slaughterhouse somewhere increases violence and domestic abuse in that place. and that the workers often develop split personalities, because they wouldn't be able to live with the person they are forced to be at work. they, obviously, become heavily desensitised over the years...i guess murdering your partner is easier after murdering animals every single day for years.

Even though I’ve watched so many videos you made, I still don’t know wether I watch them because the cases are insane or because your story telling skills / thorough researches are mind blowing. I’m obsessed regardless haha

This woman does not deserve any salary in jail nor the cell. Ive never felt so disgusted and angry towards someone while listening to a case. Can't imagine having to live with that woman and best wishes for his family and her poor children. Rip John Price 💖

I love your shows Bella. I'm Australian too and love that you represent us in this genre. You seem so very sweet but are obviously tough enough to deal with such awful subject matter in great detail. God Bless your cotton socks. Keep up the great work.

I looove these videos! I’m sososo impressed with how educated you are on every topic/case in every single video. You’re not just reading a manuscript, and it’s really admirable how much work you clearly put into these videos! Keep up the good work!

My mother has BPD and while she is definitely nowhere near this level the fear of abandonment, toxic relationships, affair accusations, violence, and manipulation are something I've watched her deal with my entire life. I continue to hope (and suggest) that she seeks help and finds a better way of living for herself. Unfortunately, though, she does not see anything wrong with her behavior and doesn't believe that she needs to change or ask for help.

I was watching this without looking at the comments and just as I was hearing the behaviors mood swings and how she was almost a different person I knew it was BPD. I have BPD and not all of us are as violent. Obviously we have very intense angry outbursts. And sometimes even threaten and fight people but not all are this aggressive :,)
@ineedanap77754 жыл бұрын
Same here, the minute she began to describe her I was like "definitely BPD" we're not all psychopaths though
@mandarinadreux95723 жыл бұрын
my first thought too. I read a lot about psychology and I'm fairly certain my mother is on the BPD spectrum too (undiagnosed tho), so when I heard about this dr jekyll and mr hyde behaviour and the unpredictable mood swings and the really intense anger, I suspected BPD as well. I think this woman had more than that tho. Maybe an element of narcissim or psychopathy

I have borderline personality disorder, and we aren’t all this violent and aggressive. it sounds like she was doing something called splitting where you idealize someone and then devalue them because of fear of abandonment. this is a trademark for bpd sadly, but it’s not this extreme in everyone. her bpd itself is not the cause of all the horrible things she’s done-it’s just because she’s a truly vile person. it makes me sad that people assume all borderlines are like this :( but great video as always bella!!
