Yea, I get the point. I'd rather stick to the OG one rather than spending money for the remasters because... seriously, this is one level with AAA games and I have _no_ idea if my old PC can play it. And talk about "modability", AFAIK, games I play that uses the same game engine as Ace Combat 7 and Project Wingman (UE4, correct me if I'm wrong) have modding capabilities and Idk whether these "great" remasters _do_ have them as opposed to the OG games. I won't take chances to buy them for $60; I'd chose to go back to the olden days before I joined Steam if I want to: *pirate it*.

The reason why RDR2 didn't sucked because it was in development before everyone decent in this company have already worked to much on this game before they left. So yeah, from GTAO and RDO, now this trilogy and after that the new GTA 5 expanded and enhanced is coming to PS5. By that we already know what that means, they are just milking at it and doesn't give a fuck. Is not like they screwed once but GTA 5 coming to PS5, GTAO, RDO and Trilogy is a huge mess to deal with it.

I'm so glad I bought these games from the PlayStation store a few months ago when they were on offer. The only advantage I saw with the remasters was having them on the Switch but I sincerely don't think the portability is worth the buggy mess this edition is.

I always tell people this but nobody listened and I am going to say this. GTA Online is the reason why Rockstar became like this. Ever since they had Shark Cards that made them money they let all that fame and success go to their minds. That explains why they became obsessed with milking GTA 5 and neglecting Red Dead Online. They only cared about GTA because it made so much money thanks to Microtransactions. Then they are trying to play into people's Nostalgia by releasing this half baked game and they messed up horribly. The fact that a multi billion dollar company failed to even polish these games that were from the PS2 era is so embarrassing. Ever since some of the important people have left they knew that Rockstar was failing and it shows why.

If I'm being perfectly honest, I'm only playing these for the Achievements/Trophies, then after that I'm never playing them again. Also if you want to try the originals, then as far as I understand, your only option is to search second-hand stores for original PS2 copies, or physical PC copy. (good luck, those are rare). If you're looking for the PS2 copies, then make sure that the disk is spotless, or else you're gonna have to deal with disk read error messages.
