I loved GTA IV Online. On consoles that is, for a time it didnt have that many cheaters. On PC it was an absolute mess. However GTA IV had some great game modes and the matchmaking was instant and bullshit free. I would get in the game have some fun and leave. Unlike with GTA Online, a buggy piece of shit game with WAY too many game modes, cheaters, etc, etc. But the biggest problem is getting kicked out of session + ridiculously long loading times. After i saw that RDR had the same problem of dropping sessions, i didnt even bothered with it, played it for maybe 10 hours. Rockstar needs to step their game up because they are going downhill FAST. Benzies is out of Rockstar, Dan Houser is out of Rockstar, Take Two are choking the life out of Rockstar with their endless greed. I think the glory days of Rockstar are behind it.

I bought this game around a year ago, I played online every so often and just kind messed around and did what I wanted but I got bored pretty quickly. When they added roles, I spent weeks grinding for gold and then grinded the roles, (mostly just the bounty hunter) and enjoyed it quite a bit. I found it quite interesting to do some bounty hunting and I could always hunt animals to make a bit of extra money, I got a moonshine shack and I found it somewhat entertaining but I eventually got bored once I’d bought everything I wanted. Recently I saw that there was an update that added a new role and I figured it would be somewhat interesting since I actually spend some time hunting for fun in the game and find it quite enjoyable. I started up the game for the first time in a few months and then it kicked me for a network error. I figured it was just a one time thing but after an hour of walking 10 steps before being kicked and then waiting a few minutes for the game to work again, it finally let me play. Then I found that I needed 25 gold to start the naturalist role, I am willing to grind for the gold but if the game won’t let me play for more than 10 minutes and I’m constantly paranoid that it’ll have a “network error” and make me lose progress then I’m not gonna be enjoying myself while I’m playing. I do find the game quite fun and I know that rockstar could make the online a very enjoyable experience however the fact that they make everything way too reliant on throwing your wallet at the game in order to make it work makes me surprised that they don’t have an option to pay for better servers.

Things that I would add and change to red dead redemption 2. Add a and updated called "the good the bad and the even worse". Add a lawman, outlaw, and warmonger role Lawman can get notified of a bank robbery done by NPC's when they walk into town (1 out of 10 chances of this happening) and can hunt and kill players current being attacked by lawman or they and let them run free by interacting with other lawmen (if they players bounty is lower than 3 dollars). Outlaws can rob special trains containing money (they train has a 1 out of 10 chances of spawning every 30 minutes) the amount of money in the train can be 200 to 1000 dollars or can be a trap that gives out zero cash and gets a bounty on you instantly of around 20 dollars (nothing extremely bad because the bounty system on online is already really weird. You can kill an entire town and get a bounty of 13 dollars) Also 1 out of ten chances of the train being a bust. And finally the warmongers. You can take guns off dead enemies player or NPC (taking the gun off a player does NOT remove it from them permanently) and take it to your business/factory (dont know what the building should be) and take the gun apart to gain gun parts to make better guns to either keep or sell to either the outlaws or the lawman. Selling to the outlaws gives outlaws zero advantage and same with lawman. But selling to outlaws gives you dishonor and selling to lawman gives you honor. A full wagon of guns sells depending on the quality of the guns ranging from 200 to 1000 dollars. I would also make roles cost 1500 ingame dollars or 15 gold bars. Add a stand off minigame that is for pure fun only or helps warmongers collect guns. So yes that's about it. If I think of more things I'll edit this comment. Thank you for reading.

Rockstar should add outlaw and sherrif job. So people can rob trains etc and lawmaker will fight them. For example there is notice that a train carrying good will arrive at X time. People will go to that train. They fight in the tracks with horses. Even outlaw will backstab other outlaw group. The best win

The worst part about the online mode for me are actually... other players. They add really nothing to the game, instead they take away from it. Let me explain: The world gets more empthy the more players are in a lobby, as animal spawns and events get spread out instead of multiplied. Have yet to see a legendary animal spawn in a full lobby. Then there is the usual RDM stuff where someone just wants to annoy you or wants to interrupt your grindy missions. Dont let me start with all the hacked two headed skeletons... But what annoyed me the most since the newest update? Every time someone starts an assasination quest on my posse, my game gets bugged out and I have to do a hard restart to get loot again. That happend 3 times now. (also happend when trying to do main missions and legendary bounties, but those you can avoid doing) In essence, there really is a "cops vs robbers" aspect missing in the game. Other players just do not add anything to your game. For me, RDRO is a Coop game with friends and the occasional server hopp. And lots of bugs to get you to grind more cause, who needs loot anyway?

Ad more content such as being able to Robb stores and have good train robbery’s and things to do along those terms 3. The games prices are at the regular prices of now but you receive money at the rate of how it was back then 4. Have all of the robbery and economy be like single player 5. Let wild horses be used 6. To be fair they've added a new role with the latest patch. It's called The Strategist. In this new role, you must first manage to get into a server. Then the clock is ticking as you frantically open the daily challenges and see which one you think you can do before being booted again. Is there time to get from Tumbleweed to Annesburg? Will using fast travel crash the game? Will using a gun to skin a snake get me a blue screen? It takes a high octane brain and lighting quick reflexes to ensure you eat those 5 pieces of produce or pluck that seagull before getting disconnected. What's great is that the role is free for now. I know it has me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Enjoy!

If I was in charge I would... 1. Add a lawman role that cost only 200$ its a mix of bounty hunting along with investigating crime scenes, having Mexican stand offs and solving murders/ robbery’s 2. add houses, they don’t really have a purpose besides showing how rich u are the cheapest being a average size house 700$ and the most expensive being a upgrade able mansion that costs 5k but 10k for full upgrades houses would be scattered around the map and you’d be able to own multiple at a time 3. Club/whore house, this would add a new role and a strip club of sorts, the role you’d essentially be a pimp, the missions would be recruiting new dancers, picking up and delivering dancer to and from npc houses, stopping bar fights or going to a rival club to start a massive bar fight and cause property damage to the rival club. This role would also make it possible to invite dancers to ur house 4. Supernatural Easter eggs, rdr has always leaned into supernatural like Easter eggs or a straight up a zombie apocalypse, I’d just add Easter eggs to add more to the world and lore 5. Bank robbery’s, 4 part set ups for heists, max money u could make 600$ average amount 400$ start the set up at camp 6. Constant clothing, horse and gun updates, ur a cowboy u need to look cool and badass and constant clothing, gun and horse updates like 1 every month or two would give you more to grind for, the outfits/ clothes wouldn’t look the same I’d try to give each update a theme for the clothes they add and along with the weapons Feel free to add onto this

The naturalist update lol, the "improved" bow is worse than the standard bow at all but 1 thing, paint it black range. You can use pib to hit someone from distances only a sniper is capable of dealing damage at, and pib targets are a guranteed hit

I immediately turned it off when I found out that I had to Pay 15 gold bars just for the bounty role..all I wanted to do was try it out to see if it was worth investing my time into only to find out I also had to invest real money into it. Beautiful single player game, terrible online mode.

It's fucking pathetic how they gutted out half of the fun activities that you could do in single player like robberies, just to make it harder for players to earn money in RDO. I'm pretty sure they did this at launch so that players couldn't make any easy money which would then pressure them into buying gold bars, but then they shot themselves in the foot by releasing the Collector role. Kinda sucks that it's most likely we're gonna have to pay in gold bars to preform these robberies online even though you can do it at any time in single player.

Literally if they just fixed the currency and servers and just gave red dead online some of the attention that they give to there money making machine gta then red dead would almost be perfection. I mean I can do a legendary bounty for 30 minutes, taking my time and getting everything right, and get 20 dollars (that is if I get any money because as of recently I get no money from anything). Not to mention that half the time I cant even do any bounties because I have a huge all white ALERT on my screen. Its genuinely sad to because I've had a lot of fun and memorable moments on it, but it's just such a mess half the time. Wombat is speaking straight facts rn.

I've been on GTA for 3 years (lvl 559 and the whole 9 yards) the biggest problem I've always had is that they rarely say anything these days about the new updates coming, and the amount of time between updates has gotten annoying (for lack of a better term). I love the game despite how broken it is I just really wish they would give us a big enough hint at a update
