I would expect people to deal in it only via speaking, never is the word written down anywhere (so as to not have any incriminating records). So it would make a lot of sense for Joe or most people not to know how to *spell* the word properly, but as they would have heard it often, they should know how to pronounce it. That is of course not taking into account the tendency of uneducated speakers of English like Joe to *still* butcher the pronunciation.

With Online, they can half ass everything, so long as they add some cosmetics and bland content, people will still keep coming back and paying for microtransactions. Well the solution is simple, money. Greed can be either good or bad, bad is when it's taken to ungodly extremes, like making your onlines so halfassed it makes Fallout 76 look like a masterpiece. When you try to market the outfit of a character that the singplayer fans played as, defiling the singleplayer with that stain of a microtransaction, rockstar's games just feel like a glorified mobile game, just without random 5 minute ads sprinkled every 1% chance you're firing your gun.

What I enjoy most about Red Dead Online is taking down Gang hideouts, and the random encounters you get along the way. I wanted it to be an experience just like the Campaign, with freedom of choice on how you play. The story missions for online were ok…. But the stranger missions were repetitive and as you stated scripted nonsense. This recent update does nothing to feel be the player more freedom and is the same as what we have already gotten. Overall I think I’ll just stick with playing the campaign with my boah Arthur.

It takes about 10 minutes to get 25 capitale, the only issue is that you got a hard timer for the emerald mission of about 30-40 mins. Ruthless takes about 5-8 minutes to complete (this is without getting the 3 chest of loot) but the cooldown kills any way to farm it. Forgot to add the random chance of the game crashing and consuming your capitale and also giving you a cooldown too.

Problems I have with the Blood Money update: •We waited nearly a year for it. •We got nothing new •GTA online clearly got 80% of Rockstar's attention as usual. •Sean being involved with the Capitale missions conflicts with the lore. •Joe being involved with the Capitale missions conflicts with the lore. •We didn't get any new guns. •We didn't get any new clothes. •Rockstar knew exactly what we wanted, named the update in a way that made it sound like we were getting what we wanted, and then proceeded to give us something we didn't want at all. Rockstar: okay guys we are gonna make a outlaw update even though the game is about outlaws and we should’ve put it in the game since day 1 but yeah doesn’t make money so what are the ideas? Rockstar employee 1: lets make it awesome just like in story mode. Rockstar employee 2: lets make bank robberies big with spectacular law enforcement chases and big payouts. If you want my honest opinion, the update isn't that bad, nor is it as horrible. The Quickdraw pass gives you the new currency (60 of it) and yes it costs gold, but it gives you your gold back. I do agree the grindyness of the Cap is bad but it also is about knowing where to look for it. If you do the contract jobs you get 3 cap and 150+ dollars, not be mention the .20-40 gold payout. Yes this update wasn't a outlaw role, yes the missions are scripted, but you also have to understand that they never said these things were happening. People once again got their hopes up, saw people complaining about something that was never promised, and don't even try the new update for themselves. Not to mention the higher levels right now are on a crusade against lower levels, further killing the game by trying to bully lower levels out. I don't think they understand that the only way rockstar, a triple A game developer who's only priority is money, is not going to devote time to a game that is actively not making them money and killing it's own player base. But again, that's my two cents. I'm having fun, and I suggest for you to at least try the update, if you don't like it, you don't like it. P.S, Covington emerald has a internal timer like legendary bounties, wait 30 minutes and you get a payout of .50-60 gold and 222 dollars

Red Dead Online got this... While GTAO got Cayo Perico few months back, which had a WHOLE NEW ISLAND, insane amount of options and good payout. And is now getting another Good looking update, AND IS GOING TO NEXT GEN. Even though RDR2 definitely deserved the Next Gen upgrade for 4K 60FPS and New Graphics way more than GTA.

Well it some what makes sense. RDO is a hell of a game. From amazing graphics to awesome mechanics. But what is one thing RDO doesn't do aswell as GTAO? Make money. GTAO is the the money maker for Rockstar and they'll do anything they can to keep the game alive. Over 20 million copies of gta v were sold in 2020 that's more than tripled the amount for rdr2 in 2020. Also gta has around 80k-120k daily players. Rdr2 has about 8k-16k. If rdr2 made more revenue for Rockstar they'd probably give it bigger and better updates but with how well gta 5 is doing, that probably won't happen.

Picture this: Story mode, but it's limited to servers of maybe ten people where everyone has to play as a character from the story pre-blackwater incident. From there on, add in ways to communicate with other players in the same way that you'd interact with NPCs in story mode, complete with voicelines. And then allow the player to do any open-world activity that you can do in offline, but with other people who are controlling other story-mode characters. You CANNOT tell me that you wouldn't enjoy that. Imagine Arthur and John shooting up a train together, spitting one-liners as they went? Or maybe get the server to take out a player using Micah? Such a simple solution, but nooooo, we can't make more money than we need from it.

Online has plenty of problems but shotguns with explosive ammo aren’t pay to win, you have to grind for that and can’t just buy them with Gold before level caps. Also, in camp, if your flag is up and you are in defensive mode, they shouldn’t be able to target you or hit you in the safe area of your camp. And if you’re not playing on PC with the hackers and gross shit R* hasn’t sorted out where they can find your IP easily and use mod menus and follow you to new sessions, just skipping sessions is easy on console to get away from people. I’m over level 400 in the game because I’m a sad twat and I rarely even encounter players because they’re easy to avoid. But yeah the shotgun isn’t pay to win, it’s just a higher level player griefing you with explosive rounds

Now, i understand it can be hard to implement major bank heists because there are only 5 of them, but I can't get over how hard it is to implement stagecoach robberies, caravan robberies and maybe even train robberies. Plus you also should be able to rob shops, post offices, sheriff offices and boats. And by robberies I mean planning, setups, different ways, uniquenes, and no time locked missions and all this with your posse or alone. Im getting sick of always these fast pased repetitive missions and deliveries for small pay in every dlc they release.
