Qu Rahn would have been so interesting to explore during the Clone Wars, in a novel or the Dark Horse comics. Pity they didn't do much with him.

@@iceomistar4302 Oh yes !!! Absolutely agreed. Kota's story is even more interesting. A late recruit from a war-torn world, trained by Mace, at odds with many decisions by the Jedi Council, always accepting dangerous missions, refusing clone troopers among his ranks but rather reformed war criminals and volunteers. It would have served some explanation to the harsh treatment towards Anakin, in some way.

Thank you! I've longed to see more on Qu Rahn and Jerec for ages! It warms the heart to see they are not forgotten after all these years. Also the art of Jerec and his Dark Jedi looking at the map holo was a commission of mine to matinpatron! This made my day.

@@spencersholden it's rough. Thrawn owes both his rank and his claim to fame to my hard work. He's hailed as an Imperial paragon when he was just another Warlord like all the rest who waited until Palpatine died at Endor to bare their ambitious teeth. At least I had the creativity and courage to nearly kill Vader, Palpatine and that Chiss at the same time! While waging war against the Loyalists. I would have gotten away with it too if not for that meddling Marek Steele and his Missile Boat too! Though I gained a measure of posthumous Revenge as the Rebels used superior Starfighters to humble the super ship obsessed Imperials, proving my doctrinal approach to be the correct one.

Awesome!!!! I’ve always wondered about him after watching him get cut down by Jerrec at the beginning of Dark forces: Jedi Knight. I wondered about his back story, the cutscenes in that game felt like a new Star Wars movie back then!!! I played it on my dads windows 95 lol

I'd love to see a video on the REAL Jedi home world Ossus since it's more significant to both the old and new Jedi orders and it was introduced in the early 90's and Tyhon wasn't introduced until the early 2010's

Yea no, as cheesy as Dark Forces 2 acting is, its so nostalgic. I think every eu fan considers this to pretty much be another movie installment like Shadows of the Empire. Kyle is an amazing character and I really miss seeing him in new star wars. Imagine how crazy fans would go if they brought back Kyle Katarn!!! What a great story! Thank you for this amazing video Tadd!!

Ngl, when I first heard Qu Rahn's name, my head actually registered it as Rahm for Rahm Kota from the force unleashed, so I thought he and Kota were the same character, until I saw his appearance, something makes me think that Lucasflim didn't bother to think up a different sounding first name for Kota....or they simply forgot Qu Rahn while making Kota. Heck as I was writing this I actually almost mixed up the two R-names, shame that Kota never got a few stories about what he was like in the clone wars......or even a answer as to his fate was after the Death Star campaign in Elite Squadron, for the DS version anyway based on my knowledge, as he guided X2 the clone of his padawan Falcon Grey in that game, and since Elite Squadron seems to be based of the cancelled Battlefront 3, was Kota planned to appear in that game as a hero?

Hey, have you seen those videos debunking your old "why TCW doesn't fit in Legends" two-parter? If so, did you respond already or do you plan to? Now seems like a good time for fans to get together and talk more, after the Mando S2 finale & the stuff that's been going on between Lucasfilm/Pablo Hidalgo and Star Wars Theory lately. I'd also be interested in hearing your thoughts about The Mandalorian so far. Now we're getting The Book of Boba Fett TV show, set shortly after The Mandalorian. Heard some interesting details about why Boba's armor is different now from the Star Wars Comics channel so far that indicate a change of character for him.

6:32 I still love how if you're playing Dark Side you just, don't crash the Moldy Crow and have a normal rematch with Yun. I suppose the Dark Side is a pathway to abilities some consider to be... unnatural. Like flying a HWK290.
