India if you're blessed by this 1985 concert featuring the Guess Who, doing the rendition of "These Eyes featuring the book hotel in and piano instrumentation of Burton Cummings call my you also be blessed by the original performance in video wishy performed in his very early twenties and 1969( he was born at the end of December in 1947 and join the other members and putting Randy Bachman when he was still a teenager in the 60's). The Guess Who work and it is primary Rock band of the rock Era and in response to The WHO from England. You also enjoy the myriad of other hits written by Burton Cummings in conjunction with Randy Bachman on guitar. This includes "Undun", done a 1969 which featured Cummings versatile music talents in playing the flute, which added a wonderful touch in his attempt to have the instrumentation that Jethro Tull had in his compositions. You especially love their first Mega number one hit American Woman" from 1970, which for a while was being considered has the Canadian National anthem in response to all of the draft dodgers from the United States to Canada, to avoid participation in Vietnam War. It was a very well stated metaphorical image of Canada's adversity to become taken over and swallowed up by the United States culture and" their war machines " And their ghetto scenes,zitwas popular in Canada and the United States in response to the takeover of US culture in Canada by the call troll influence of the "American Woman." Unfortunately guitarist and musician Lenny Kravitz apparently didn't understand the lyrics and his remake totally butchered the song and a video as it showed in his new arrangement of the song with American women on the beach in bikinis, which was not the intent or the theme of the song. Has displayed in his music video. You will other songs to by the Guess Who, it show great harmony and instrumentation as in "No Time", "No Sugar Tonight","Share The Land","Clap for The Wolfman", , which was dedicated to Wolfman Jack, Burt Sugarman of the Midnight Special. Program in the 80's and 90's. He was also a famous DJ in Los Angeles area previously. Burton Cummings has been placed in the Canadian Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on two occasions as a single artist as well as with the Guess who. He is the only one that holds that distinction. It's too bad that they are not installed and the American rockin roll all the same as well. Another song which Randy Bachman made popular when he broke off for a while from the Guess Who when he formed Bachman Turner Overdrive when he composed" Taking care of Business" , which has been performed with the .Guess Who when he.rejoined the Guess Who again in the later 70'sand early 80's. Mr Cummings is still active and performing as well as having published a couple of poetry books and other come positions and he had a television show in Canada featuring rock musicians and artist as well. Rock musicians and pop musical artists.

India,India,India, you, my lady are falling in love with all this old school! Don't try to deny it, I can see it in your eyes and hear it in your voice! I love it and I love your reactions to it! This is from the generation when music really moved people. The Randy mentioned in the description is none other than Randy Bachman who went on to form Bachman Turner Overdrive, you may have heard of them,if not you are in for another treat! So far you are proving to be fearless as far as reacting to people you don't know. Keep up the great work and I will be watching for more old school! Love from New Hampshire!

When I was in high school my friend and I took a road trip 4 hour drive into upstate New York. His car had to go into the shop right before we were supposed to leave so we took his grandfather 64 Mercury Montego. It had no radio only an 8-track and they were only a couple of 8-track cassettes in the car. One of which was The Guess Who. We played it over and over again the duration of our trip. it actually became a symbol of some really great memories. The fact that you're reacting to it just brought back so many of them. I haven't even listened to it yet and I already love it! Thank you!
@Real_masontroyadams
@Real_masontroyadams 5 жыл бұрын
@@chae-wonseong8350 wow, you just made me feel old as hell haha. 8-tracks were what people had in the car before CD's and even before cassette tapes. The 8-track looked kinda like an old Atari system (please tell me you've heard of Atari) and the 8-track CASSETES looked like an old Atari cartridge, except it had audio tape inside instead of microchips. It was like a record player for the car. Each cassete had songs on BOTH SIDES of the tape. There was side A and side B. If you bought an album, half the songs would be on side A, half on side B. There was no rewind option, so you'd have to FAST FORWARD on one side, then flip the cassete over to the other side to play the song you were looking for.

My wife of almost 21 years of marriage passed away in June of 2021 just a few days after the funeral this song come to my mind as I sat in the living room by myself I begin to cry and sing this song. Even now trying to make this comment I still break down. I cried every day for months and my doctor finally put me on some medicine to help with depression and it has helped some but there will never be a replacement for the person that you love so very much and hold dear to your heart. So much I want to say so much I need to say but I can only get it out when I'm by myself thinking of her.

I think I first heard this at Fort Leonard Wood Mo. I was going through Combat Engineering Training. It was the summer of '69. I was 18. My best friend who had the bunk below mine met a girl in town. He'd sneak off post to see her. It must have been love at first sight, as he'd only known her for just a couple of weeks before she dumped him. When he told me how tore up he was he said he felt exactly like this song might make you feel to go through something like my friend went through. This song was playing in the barracks on someone's radio at the time. He admitted he was thinking about going awol. I told him to just try to forget about her. After a day I never saw him again.

One of the coolest bands to meet in person song back in 92 at the orbit room a small club that was in Grand Rapids I got pushed out of the way when the drummer threw a drumstick to the audience and he saw that so at the end of the show he gave me a pair also hung out with the band for the rest of the day with my date real cool timeless sound

I was in the 9th grade when the album came out and I asked my older sister to buy it for me since my birthday was the next week. Well, she did and I must say listened to that album 1000 times that year. American Women was my favorite song on that album though I liked the entire album. Do a reaction to " American Woman " if you could. Ooh I'm 63 now so that's how old the song "These Eyes" is. Thanks so much for the reaction 👍👍😎

The music from the 60's 70's 80's is the best. In that time everyone played the instrument. They did not use machines to make the beat. I love it.

The piano, Burton Cummin's favorite toy. Randy Bachman was part of the band & went on to form Bachman Turner Overdrive.

The guitarist was Randy Bachman (pronounced Backman) who later fronted the band Bachman-Turner Overdrive or BTO for short who had a lot of hits as well. Both the Guess Who and BTO are very underrated bands. BTO was the heavier of the two as they had more of a guitar driven sound than The Guess Who.

Vince Randy Bachman pronounced his name two different ways. The first way was b o c k m a n in the second way was b a c k m a n. The second pronunciation was when he was with the Guess Who. The first pronunciation was when he was with BTO

Burt Cummings, the singer and Randy Bachman had a lot of hits with this group. Then they had hits as Bachman-Turner Overdrive, one of the rare acts to have number one hits with 2 bands. And they had A LOT of hits, American Woman, Ain't see nuthin' yet, Taken Care of Business, and others.

Makes me remember when I was a little girl, one brother in Vietnam and the other hiding from the government because he never returned after one pass he had. Lot of sadness and tension, my father was upset and I was too little to understand
