I believe Death will be extremely powerful, but not the most powerful Devil. I think Agony would be stronger. In part one Eternity Devil chose death over the agony of being ripped apart for 3 days straight by Denji. Also a lot of people and even animals sometimes choose to die instead of keep agonizing forever

I think so , and they definetly would be a primal fear , humans are still animals at the end of the day and we are tribal by nature, we split ourselves into different and while we trust the people from our own group , we are wary of those from other groups because we dont know their intentions , and we are scared of them when said other groups have a known reputation for heinous actions likr violence , one example is sparta in ancient greece , they were feared by other greek polis/cities because of their military manpower and how cruel they were to their adversaries when they lost the battle .
