The basic principle is revealed by the Chinese long long time ago. There is an old Chinese saying: when you are fed and warm, you will think about sex (reproduction). On the other hand, when you are hungry and miserable, you think about survival. That is the core of the gut/brain relationship.

If you are happy, you are interested in all (sex). If you are anxious or depressed, you lost interest in all and constipation or diarrhea (in case of fear)

People a mere 100 years ago had a different gut microbiome. All the GMO, petroleum derived dyes,corn derived addictives, artificial sweeteners,harsh antibacterial cleaning solutions/sanitizer has really throun off our gut microbiome.

Yes they had a different way of checking the microbiome back then ie the 4 humours and the smelling of urine so simple but affective to spot and check for GOUT. So the question is why would food regulation allow such things as refined foods (sugar- oils and sodium) become so readily available when Dr's where already aware of degenerative diseases through unhealthy foods stuffs. Could it really be as simple as MONEY? and GREED? OF WHICH IN TURN CREATES NEED FOR "BIG PHARMA" SURLY NOT!!!!!!

My 4 years old son met all his milestones, talked and was very advanced for his age, then st almost 3 5 he stopped talking. He exhibited abnormal behaviors and diagnosis was autism. Did OAT test in Canada and everything was great, didn't believe it. Second opinion with Great Plains Lab and his gut is full of clostridia ( HPHPA and cresol) and other overgrowth bacteria. The neurotransmitter is messed up, just hard to see my smart boy going from advanced to just severe autism. It is just beyond comprehension how his pediatrician refused to give him vancomycin after I show her the Las test fortunately I didn't get discouraged. Canada OAT doesn't check the gut and brain chemistry. I can go on and on. Doctors need to be retrained and learn about c difficile and its effect on the brain.

Come on, MS might not be visible for years, and even when first symptoms pop up it usually takes time to final conclusion. I see this as most people are exposed to these bacteria but in healthy people the bad bacteria is suppressed while in MS not.
