The secret with kids shoes is to always buy the size up from what you think they need then put them away until they fit, then forget they exist and find them when they have grown out of them. I find that has worked fairly consistently for me 🤦🏻‍♀️

@@myopinion69420 Also the dreaded half pocket that _looks_ like a full pocket right up until you try to put your hand in one. That moment when you are eyeing the models’ hands in that cool ‘hands in pockets with the thumb out’ position and the guy’s hands have practically vanished but the female can only fit her hand in halfway. Me just mentally going: I feel like all online pants models need to do this just so I know what I’m getting myself into. Also just waiting for the day that global shipping and online shopping is so mainstream that they finally create universal sizing. Maybe then there would be less ‘people ordering three different sizes just so they can figure out what fits and return the rest’ type issues.

Jimmy you never cease to amaze me! Why on earth would you be researching shoe sizes? What must be going on in that head of yours? So now you’ve tweaked my curiosity 🤔🤓 The following length units are commonly used today to define shoe-size systems: The Paris point equates to 2⁄3 centimetre (6.67 mm; 0.26 in). Whole sizes are incremented by 1 Paris point; this corresponds to 3.33 millimetres (0.131 in) between half sizes. This unit is commonly used in Continental Europe, and Russia and former USSR countries. The barleycorn is an old English unit that equates to 1⁄3 inch (8.47 mm). This is the basis for current UK and North American shoe sizes, with the largest shoe size taken as twelve inches (a size 12) i.e. 30.5 cm, and then counting backwards in barleycorn units, so a size 11 is 11.67 inches or 29.6 cm. Metric measurements in millimetres (mm) or centimetres (CM), with intervals of 5 mm and 7.5 mm are used in the international Mondopoint system (USSR/Russia and East Asia).
