Simple as it may sound, wearing a Satin Cap has tremendously helped me with hair growth/retention. Next was realizing shampoo is not second in importance to my conditioner, but that a more expensive shampoo with the natural ingredients I was desiring in it to ensure a clean and nourished scalp and a cheap conditioner for just grooming the hair was a better choice. Also combing/detangling ONLY while in the shower under the water. I also make ayurvedic herbal hair oils for my hair.

@@niyoleo if you get oily scalp then yes conditioner will make it oily so you shouldn’t put it on your scalp in that case. Those instructions are written for people who have a lot of sebum production. Most naturals don’t have that issue so we can rub it into our scalp to soften the roots which are usually the kinkiest and it won’t make our roots oily “weighing down” our hair like those with straighter hair types.

The point about blood flow is sooo true. I'm anemic and my hair used to grow super slowly (3 inches per year-ish). Now that I'm on iron, I can def see a difference, all over my body too (even my lashes are longer). As for DIY recipes, I made a 50/50 blend of Jamaican black castor oil and olive oil and added 10-15 drops of peppermint and tea tree oil, plus a bit of glycerin (I like it, makes my roots feel soft and calms my dry scalp). I really want to make fenugreek oil as well. Thanks for this video. Love u and ur vids

I use Rice Water for hair growth. It has thickened my hair, and I have seen nothing less than massive growth. Less shedding, and it keeps my hair strong. Those oils are great. But, I recommend magnesium oil on the scalp. You need a booster. I have tried them all. Yes, some oils will help growth, but, very slow. Will these oils keep the hair strong enough to prevent shedding or breakage? I believe in nutrients for the hair. I have never used a hair product that made my hair grow. Only Blue Magic Hair Grease with conditioner in it has per say helped my hair to retain length. Magnesium is aslo a main component. Which lacks in most people's bodies. Magnesium oil applied directly on the scalp. Kills the calcification, or the calcium buildup. This is usually why most women can not grow long hair. Their scalp. Yes, the massaging helps. But, again, it will not keep it strong. Low manipulation to the hair is another major factor. Women try to grow their hair, but are constantly combing, and styling. You have to make a choice. Growing long hair, begins in the mind. I stopped everything. Including beauticians. I went to work. Rice Water treatments. Fenugreek treatments. I would alternate. A good vitamin. Even the one a day will make an impact. It has Bioten. Every wash, I also use a clarifying shampoo that does not strip my hair. Then I go in with my favorite shampoo to add back balance. Stop spending money on products that will not grow your hair. Rice water has been proven over and over again to promote and retain length. It has nutrients, and so does Magnesium oils. I no longer buy products to make my hair grow. I buy the best products that my hair responds to. Like any products where the first ingredient is water. Hair grease that keeps my hair hydrated. My protective styles, braids, & wigs, and no direct heat. Has my hair bra strap. From upper mid back. Within a year. That Rice water is the culprit.

I can say I am a walking testimony for this hunny! My only thing is I've not tried fenugreek yet but I will do some research about it. I have used rice water repeatedly in 2020 and I too can say yasssss that works. I had a bald head and now my hair is 7 inches. I have also started using onion juice...so fingers crossed I pray it helps strengthen my hair. I have also stopped using lots of products...only 1 I use is shea moisture. I even stopped using gels.. I make my own such as flaxseed gel. I am aiming to get back to my length like what I had in 2010. It's been a while since I tried to maintain growth but I made it in my mind that its the time to start. The battle begins definitely in the mind

When I was a child my Mom mixed sulfur(MSM) with hair grease and put it on my scalp because I had eczema sores on my scalp. My hair grew even with the sores. After the sores healed she stopped with the sulfur. We never contribute my rapid hair growth during that time with that MSM. Just saying in case you want to try.

@flafalaise
@flafalaise 3 жыл бұрын
@@immaculatemakoko1797 I make a hair mask. I use 1/2 to 1 cup of Moringa powder and Fenugreek powder. I make that with fresh aloe vera juice that I make and put coconut, almond, Moroccan, olive oils and I also add some essential oils like tea tree & lavender oils. I also add 2 fresh avocados. I use this mixture as a pre-poo and leave it in my hair for 1-2 hours and then wash it out. It leaves my hair super soft and has helped with growth. It was a game changer for me. Everyone's hair is different and has different needs, maybe this can work for you. Best of luck 🙂

Not a chemist! But if I recall there is no big difference. The ingredients are usually similar, just with less water and more concentrated. Also the differing usages prompt the formulators to alter the preservatives used (not sure about this one, maybe this is just for leave ins.) But I hope this response tides you over until CC makes a proper video!

I have checked some regular conditioners and deep conditioners from the Same brand and saw same ingredients but i think the heavy form of regular conditioner is deep conditioner just added additional quantity of ingredients . @ileanasantamaria2364
@ileanasantamaria2364 3 жыл бұрын
I read that deep conditioners contain ingredients with smaller molecules that can penetrate the hair shaft, hence the benefit of leaving them on the hair for awhile, whereas rinse-out conditioners just smooth the cuticle of the hair. Also not a scientist, so don't quote me on that! :-)
@Naturalhairgoal
@Naturalhairgoal 3 жыл бұрын
@@ileanasantamaria2364 may here such too but what ingredients made the deep conditioner molecule smaller and was not stated on the lable . I use a lot of things on my hair so I can’t say for sure which one product gave me results... I bet they all contributed to my hair retaining length. The main difference is that I was taking much better care of my hair this year! - I realized that I have High Porosity Hair - I added a prepoo to prevent hygral fatigue (I learned about those two factors on your channel!) - I moisturize more often and I seal in the moisture (with good ‘ol grease) - I added protein to my hair regimen - I took note of what methods made my hair feel better and stronger - I only use a comb or brush on wash day - I know that Patience is a Virtue when it comes to seeing results My hair was always growing, but now I’m also retaining length so I can’t wait to see how healthy my hair will be this time next year!
