You recently popped up on my yt, and I appreciate your approach in the tutorials. I'm on a mission to complete all your garter stitch patterns, this is the 3rd. In England, I have 10 x 100g (300 yards) baby King Cole Cloud Nine acrylic yarn and 'three' 4mm x 100mm circular needles. I'm intending to use all the yarn, as a throw for a friends sofa. I began with one circular needle, and I'm now using 2 as straight needles. At 101 stitches between yo's, I noticed I'd moved my central yo k1 yo a stitch out of line - 4 peepholes down. It gave me the opportunity to look at how far I'd got, being laid out flat. I'm now using stitch markers for the yo's! I've 3 circulars because I will eventually need to use 2 to hold the stitches and the 3rd to do the knitting. 27 Sept 2024

I just wanted to let you know that I am very happy with your presentations! I have learned so much on how to make different shawls that you've done! I am 'inspidered', because you make each knitting pattern so easy!! Plus, your enthusiasm for teaching us brings a lot of joy! All the shawls that you've taught us, mine has grown very big, due to the effort that I put into them! Thank you Fiber Spider! You are so dear to all of us kniiters, and yarn lovers!!

This is a perfect shawl pattern p. I just have to remember to use a row counter to remember where I’m at. A word to remember, you’ll be increasing before and after markers 2, 3, 4. There’ll be a increase of 8 stitches each increase row. Thank you for this tutorial. This will be my first attempt at a semi circle shawl. Fingers crossed 🤞 I can do it properly

I added a second stitch marker on the other side of each "spine" stitch. It made things a bit more symmetrical and easier to envision. Also, I'd like to make a beginning garter tab to avoid that little nape notch, but I'm not sure how to fit it in. The pattern is very nice, though....thanks for another winner!

Also, I am using my very much loved Denise interchangeable set & I am extending/changing wires as needed. Thank you for your easy instructions & lovely patterns! Can't wait to try another pattern.
