in regards to any hypothetical 'Zelda movie', i just hope they dont give Link too many lines...like, i can understand not being ENTIRELY Silent (answering Yes/No questions, or general 'effort' noises), but as of BotW, it is literally canon that Link doesnt talk much (as in, its not "just to be a Blank Slate for the player's immersion") and the games have always been able to carry the plot with the OTHER characters doing all the talking...it shouldnt be too difficult to translate that to a Movie Plot that also needs no dialogue from Link... ...besides, with other "limited-speech" characters like Groot or Hodor, theres no excuse...
