ha, forgot I posted that one. Essential Miles to me as you know. Thanks for the mention. Lovely reverb unit there, made for a very crushing and soulful version of "Why Was I Born" if I heard that correctly. lovely Bob!

Bob bossing that guitar around the room. Nice one, sir. I’m pretty sure Teo alone did nearly all of the editing and effects, sans Miles’ input. I’m no expert but I play one on KZbin.

If like Big Fun the album check out the box set 😱. Like the reverb unit, back in the day used a lot of Electro Harmonix and MXR I believe. Don't forget to check your email box on Monday's👍

Big fun, on the corner, live evil and bitches are my favourite Miles noises. On a different note, check out a band called Peth. Its pure Sabbath worship at its finest, i think you'll dig it. 😖🤘

Still have Big Fun, excellent album. Another great one is Star People with Miles and Scofield tearing it up, from 1983.

I don't see Big Fun very often but I did see it at a local shop recently. Price was out of my range. I will grab it someday when I find it at a reasonable price. I try to scoop up all the Miles and Coltrane I can find! Great video Bob and Happy New Year! -Jay

The outer sleeve is what prevents ring wear. The record stored outside or in the cover makes no difference. The record causes high spots in the cover, these areas are what makes contact with other covers/the environment and get worn. The physical shape of the record causes these high spots whether it's inside or behind the cover. Still more convenient to store the record behind and does reduce wear to the cover from handling.
