I saw Acid Bath 3 times in 96’ and 97’ . They were amazing!! The energy in the small venues was unreal!!! I wish I could go back in time.

I got to see Dax play solo shit at a bar in Oakland, CA. Like 2014. Took his sweet ass time gettin' over to the west coast, dude NEVER did that. It was more amazing than you could know, Riggs is the only guy/band that sounds like 2x BETTER live than in studio, which is insane considering the fucking way he sings and the notes he hits. Plus playing a fucking guitar. Almost EVERYONE there had an Acid Bath shirt, and kept yelling at him the whole time to play fucking Acid Bath songs, which was fucking retarded and annoying. Then they all just MOBBED the poor dude like he was Jesus Christian returned...it made him so awkward and embarrassed so I just chilled n waited till everyone pissed off n was like "okay, if I don't at least say something to the guy I'll feel like shit" so I just thanked him for coming out West, shook his hand(haven't washed it since), and asked if I could carry his gear out. He said yeah n we got to kick it for awhile. He seemed to greatly appreciate not being fawned over. Like. I get it. Nobody just "likes" Acid Bath, we worship it, it's a testament of art. I dunno. He's a good sport. Except for like the 12th time he got asked to play scream of the butterfly or what color is death, which we all know is the shade of an icepick sinking into flesh) ...like...how dude gonna play shit from 20 years ago without any bandmates or dearmetal gear? You stupid? He's not fucking omnipresent...I think?

Woman and child Like a feather falls from the sky So dark, so dark in the moonlight Naked we worship the night sky No man can hold what the darkness can sow Gonna leave an ugly skull when ya go Tongues like horns violently born a new soul The soft dead awake alive in love Hard for the hangman's daughter Naked we worship the night sky No man can hold what the darkness can sow Gonna leave an ugly skull when ya go

@@Jordan-dn7dc Isn't that an odd response? Looks like someone is a A$$hole while we are slowly dying in a pandemic. I'd say Mike Sanchez is the most underrated guitarist of all time. Where in the world is Mike Sanchez in 2020? I read somewhere way back he was doing a project in a band called "The Green" but never heard anything of it. It's like he fell off the planet. Rumor back then was Mike had ripped off the band somehow. But who knows on that. I drove down for the show with a lot of stuff that makes your eyes blackout but they cancelled in Gulfport due to the split. Maybe if they charged more than $14...just saying. I hope all of them are well now with this shit going on now. If Mike did a solo project I'd have followed up on it. Same with Chuck. I wish I'd have got to see Agents at the State Palace, just because, it's the State Palace. I wonder how they made that an all age show. I use to leave Dax's shows and head over to the State Palace raves. Hard to believe dodging piles of dopesick vomit and hiding your eyes from the feds shining lights in people's eyes was ever an all ages venue. I saw Agents at the Howlin Wolf though. I was a bit arrested in New Orleans for the DBA show and regret missing that. Minor inconvenience but I missed When Bones Turn To Dust and we still don't have a good recording of that one to this day...,

@@Nb-yx6er Unfortunately, I don't. It was before digital was affordable, the no camera, flip phone era. Would have had to use a bulky tape cam, and that would've been destroyed in our mosh pit. All I have is some still photos & a signed promo poster. Here's a link to the EP we were supporting at that time. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJvImWSGYragbqM

My shitty band played with agents of oblivian in ohio. They hung out at my parents house, and my little brother was running a pirate radio station out of his bed room at the time,so all the guys in the band played around and dj'd while they were there. There are/ were some audio recordings of them on air playing music and chilling. That was how i discovered the band "sparks" if you read this thread daxx i am learning these tunes on my fiddle to play on the river bank this summer for some night fishing atmosphere. Come jam some tunes! P.s. the fcc drove all the down from Detroit to shut the station down not long after:)
