The most clear and precise explanation of modes I’ve seen yet. Believe me, I’ve seen a few 😊 Cheers John 🍻👍🏻

I'm using this series alongside John's Blues Bible. It's helping. A lot. These frameworks help me get where I need the song to go. Big thumbs up!

Wonderful playing there at the beginning. And be careful, you just might succeed in getting me to understand modes (finally).

Great stuff John. Be handy if you could add links to all the mode/song writing lessons in your patreon(if you haven't already).

I need to start by saying ; " I am not usually one to put people on a pedestal, or do any arse licking " ( we all have strengths and weaknesses ) BUT I will always champion " Teachers " like John Robson who are prepared to share their knowledge, and hard earned wisdom, with anyone who wishes to pursue, with varying degrees of application, advice and information, otherwise unavailable to good souls who are prepared to put in the effort of learning to play the guitar. John's level of commitment to his passion is typical of those who GIVE because they LOVE their craft rather than love the financial rewards of their endeavours. I salute John and respect him above so many of his peers. HAPPY NEW YEAR John. I need to send you an updated caricature very soon 😎 Thank you for all that you do brother. Sincerely. Pete x

Where do the Greek-sounding names of the modes come from?
