This is called chandeliering. It happens in Ontario lakes and rivers in the early spring. Wow! Thanks for the 10k + likes. It’s my pleasure to put you onto this unforgettable phenomenon, and I hope you get to experience it one day. As some folks have noted, it happens all over the world; for me, I had a chance to play with this kind of ice while on an early spring canoe trip with @thelandcanadianadventures. We pushed our big Voyageur boat as far into the crystals as possible until it couldn’t move forward anymore, and then everyone just played around with it. We plunged our paddles in and brought them up covered in a new coat jangly ice. We had to back out and portage around the oxbow of the lake until the water opened up again and we could resume paddling.

we are all sinners, and we have broken Gods law. Therefore we all deserve hell. But God was merciful and sent Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, His Son, to die for the sins of those who would believe in Him. He lived a sinless life, then he died on the cross, taking the wrath of God we deserved onto himself. He rose again 3 days later to defeat death for all of those who would put their trust in him. If you repent of your sin and place your faith in Christ, He will save you from hell. This is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The only way to enter heaven.

Ice chandeliering is a phenomenon that occurs when multiple layers of ice form on top of each other, creating a fragile, layered structure. Here's a clear and simple explanation of how it happens: 1. Initial Ice Formation: When the temperature drops below freezing, the surface of a body of water (like a lake or river) begins to freeze, forming a layer of ice. 2. Water Seeping Through: Sometimes, cracks or holes develop in the ice layer. Water from below the ice can seep through these cracks. 3. Refreezing: When the seeping water comes into contact with the cold air above the ice, it freezes, forming a new layer of ice on top of the original one. 4. Repeat Process: This process can happen multiple times. Each time water seeps through and freezes, a new layer of ice forms. These layers stack on top of each other, creating a multi-layered, fragile structure that resembles a chandelier. 5. Chandelier Appearance: The term "chandeliering" comes from the way these layers of ice look. They can appear delicate and intricate, much like the crystals in a chandelier. Important Points: • Ice chandeliering typically occurs in conditions where there is a cycle of melting and refreezing. • It often happens in late winter or early spring when daytime temperatures are above freezing, causing some melting, and nighttime temperatures drop below freezing, causing refreezing. • The resulting ice structure is usually very fragile and can break easily. Understanding ice chandeliering can be important for safety, as these structures can be hazardous for anyone walking on the ice.

If you fall in ice, then you could still find your way out (albeit difficult) but with this place it may be harder because those look small enough to possibly hurt you and it could be difficult getting out of the water due to its weight and the fack there is no solid ground unless your near the edge of the water. yall don't feel like god takes the mystique and interest away from nature? there are so many new advances in science that let us see the interesting and complex circumstances under which things are formed in nature. I love thinking that every plant, animal, weather phenomenon, no matter how small, has complex and unique origins that can be explained by something other than magic. to think that there's a reason, no matter how magical it seems. this opposed to a human in the sky decided it should be that way for our personal enjoyment. the nature of reality is so mysterious. sorry for the wall of text 👽
