X1: Sigma, obviously. Even though I've gotten a lot better, that's because I have a LOT of practice. X2: Actually? Neo Violen. Sigma isn't that hard, but the blocks take Violen from difficult but possible to manage to almost impossible to learn. X3: Sigma in X3 is infamously difficult and for good reason. Phase 1 is manageable with double air dash but you will have to learn the pattern pretty well. Phase 2 is learnable but Sigma takes up so much of the screen that he can easily pin you in the corner if you're not careful. Godkarmachine O Inary can also be difficult, but nowhere near as tough as Sigma X4: I already discussed the two candidates in my comment under his Easiest Castle Bosses vid, but to summarize, Colonel is extremely difficult to hit as Zero and Sigma is otherwise way harder. X5: Shadow Devil can be tough, but you can learn the block patterns pretty easily. Sigma, however, has a tough first phase especially with that wave attack and his second phase has some really tough attacks. I can't even figure out how to dodge the electricity move without the Nova Strike. X6: The Gate stages are an infamous sifficulty spike, but Sigma is easy and Gate isn't hard, just stupid. Nightmare Mother, however, is hell itself, especially as Zero. X7: I also talked about this last video, and the gist is that Bore Mole is easier than Sigma even though Sigma is easy. X8: Sigma kicks my ass on the regular. You can learn his pattern, but his attacks are really tough, especially once you trigger his low health behaviour. However, I'm not sure if he counts thanks to Lumine. If not, then I actually think Vile is the hardest castle boss.

Neo-Violen is the hardest motherfinker in MMX history. Possibly the entire MegaMan anthology, including all of the fighting games he's in, PLUS Smash Bros. Nightmare Mother is a very close second.

1: totally agree, especially when you challenge yourself to only use the X Buster 2: I actually have a passionate hatred for the Serges "Wily"-Machine 3: Sigma. Totally 4: I dislike the general, especially as Zero 5: Yep, Sigma 6: I hope the nightmare mother burns in hell for just f*cking existing 7: Good ol' Red 8: Sigma (the real one) but his fight is also insanely funny. Actually i completely dislike every final stage boss of X8. Capcom rushed the final stages even more than in MM11. Besides Jakobs stage theme and the moon base all of it is pure sh*t. Sorry for all the X8 lovers.

@@theodorfons1551 I actually found the Serges Tank the easiest, but I was able to get the best stratefy really quickly. You have to use the Giga Attack immediately to destroy his cannons. Hop onto the exposed bottom part (i lile to call it the "foot) of the tank, which won't damage you, and then spam charged Sonic Slicers. His split shot projectiles will often just miss you entirely, and it's not too hard to get onto the platforms if you need to.

Mirror match is easy if you select guts man's weapon. So the boss can't shoot. Go in the corner, wait for the clone to be as far from you as possible, then quickly swap to whatever weapon you prefer, I like elec since you can't miss with it. Then immediately swap back to guts man. Usually the boss won't shoot anything in that time, and you can dodge if he does, since he's on the other side of the screen. Repeat until he's dead

MM1 Clone Boss is actually really easy. Just start off with Gutsman and move to the left corner. He will never just run directly into you. When he runs in the opposite direction , press the fire button to make him jump away from you (timing can be a bit tricky). Switch to Fireman and get a few free shots off. Rinse and repeat lol. Top Spin can also one-shot the turtles.

Against Copy Robot, there's a strategy to equip Super Arm, press the fire button to make Copy Mega jump, switch to Fire Storm, and shoot.

As a 6 year old I remember the crash man security cameras bricked me several several times. I always ran one shot and struggled to preplan and skip some barriers. Beat it a few times and only beat the game once. It’s funny in hindsight.

I learned a trick that makes wily capsule 7 a bit more manageable, it basically goes like this. go into the battle with wild coil, when wily goes down to a level that you can hit him on and hit him with the weapon. whether or not you hit him with the coils switch to thunder bolt and shoot him, thunder bolt doesn't damage the capsule but it will always make him use the floor crawling attack which is much easier to deal with than the quad shot. if Wily isn't in range go below him and slide out of the way right after he fires the quad shot, the shots will hone in a way in which you can jump over.

What I like most about the final boss in 7 is the way the game builds up to it. While the rest of the game is easy you'll sometimes get hit with things that can hurt you BAD. Fire jets being the worst. And then it implies all of this was to collect combat data as to what can hurt you... Then build a machine just made out of things that can screw you up.

I agree with you on mm2's boobeam trap, you have to use the crash bomber, and it only takes 7 ounces of energy, so if you used up some of that energy, you wouldn't be able to finish the game

Best strategy for Clone Mega Man is to stand in the corner and jump and shoot the regular weapon. Like two in the air one shot on the ground over and over. When he gets close stop shooting. He'll back off. Repeat as soon as he backs off some.

I like making myself the classics harder by using only the mega buster. And with this challenge the Wily Machine 3 was by far the funniest (and most challenging) experience. The first form was easy as always but the second form... well i had a couple of game overs here. Mega Buster means, i didn't even use Rush Jet. Only the perfect timing of up to 3 shots every time Wily lowers the machines body to crush you. It was crazy, but really funny at the end!

2:18 - First time I beat it, save states were unavailable to me. Second time I beat it and onward, which was on an emulator, save states were available to me and I didn't even have to save/load state to beat that guy - I just memorized when to jump. Also, the two consecutive low pieces can be jumped over in the same jump. That can save you some trouble if you have any difficulties trying to jump across both of them with smaller jumps.

My hardest MM1 - Mega Clone MM2 - Wall cannon thingys aka the Boobeam Trap MM3 - Yellow Devil so far, so good right? MM4 - Wily Machine MM5 - Big Pez MM6 - Power Piston Totally different here. Here's my reasoning for 4, 5 and 6 Wily Machine in 4 - This gave me fits as a kid. It's not so hard to me now but because it tormented me for so long, I gotta give it its due. IF you know that the drill missile can be detonated in the air then you have the weakness and it's not such a hard fight. If you don't know this then good luck. When you watch the drill just bounce harmlessly off him, you get the idea it doesn't work. Now a charged Mega Buster at the very peak of your jump can damage him, but you're busy dodging these big thick fireballs that have no pattern and sometimes getting blasted, sometimes you can't release it at the peak, sometimes it felt like blind luck hitting him with the buster and I didn't think it could ever be used consistently. I didn't know why the occasional one landed, most of them seemed to brick off him like all the other weapons so I didn't think any of the conventional weapons worked. So I used to resort to all kinds of tomfoolery. Get under him and use wire straight up on his weak spot. When you run out of that, use rush jet to get some height and fire at him twice before jumping off and avoiding contact damage then rinse and repeat. These strategies meant you take lots of damage and no guarantee they'd work. I'd stock up and game over in that level until I'd get 9 E-tanks, then fight him and STILL LOSE! My point is, it was legit hard to figure out the "right" way to beat this guy and I never knew you could detonate the drill until KZbin became a thing. I think Taco Trash is a pain and so is the Big Met but none of them gave me fits the way Wily Machine phase 2 did. Now yes, I was around 9-14 yrs old when this guy was giving me fits but I think 9-14 yr old me was still pretty solid at Megaman. Big Pez - I really don't think this is hard. But, none of these bosses in 5 are hard. I think Wily in 5 is really one of the easiest versions of himself and it pains me to pick him, I can't do it. At least with big pez, there's some tricky platform jumping and some chaos going on. Once in a while it can catch you off guard if your timing is off. Power Piston - I don't get how you think this guy is the easiest. There's rocks raining down on you shaking the ground, there's bullets flying all over, and that guy is moving up and down that wall at random. The tomahawk is your best friend there and it should curve to hit him but it's also a little RnG as to when he moves and if he's going to walk into the path of your silver tomahawk. In the meantime you got a lot of shit to dodge and if you're not lucky, he might outlast you. Wily in 6 I think the presentation is great and the music is compelling, I don't find him challenging. Maybe timing it to get under his jumps in phase 2 can be a little tricky but it's not going to kill me.

Gonna point out that Wily Machine 2's projectiles in it's second phase are literally impossible to dodge thanks to wonky hitboxes. Make of that what you will. Also the Tako Trash glitch makes it trivial, just go behind it and none of it's projectiles can hit you while you jump up and charge shot it's weak point. Also MM5's Wily Machine actually has two phases, the Wily Press is a different boss from the Wily Machine itself. Not sure what Wily was thinking here honestly.

Personally as someone who got MM11 and beat it the yellow devil gave me more challenge, wily machine here pretty easy at least with gears and weapons, throw power gear chain blast or blazing torches if this ammo is over for phase 2 throw the last of the chain blasts and wait for him to be above so I can scarmble thunder him even his double gear last attacks isn't that hard unless is the one you need to slide all I need is just speed gear a bit and shoot up when he above me, for the yellow devil yes I do the same when I blast him with power geae chain blasts but is much easier for me to miss up shots

In my opinion Boobeam Trap (Yes that's the official name if somebody didn't know) isn't challenging, I think It's just bullshit because of the fact that this is one of two classic bosses that I'm aware of that are damaged by only one specific weapon the other one being alien Wily. The only thing that I worry about when facing this thing is if I'm going to fire one crash bomb in the wrong direction by mistake

I gotta admit, dude, the Mega man clone is just as easy as the Yellow Devil for similar reasons. His AI is VERY easy to exploit when you understand what it does, and you can basically kill him without ever getting hit. So if you consider the Devil easy because you learned his pattern (as we all did back in the day!), then you should realize the Clone can't be called hard because you don't know how to abuse his AI routine. I dunno. I think both bosses are equally hard at first, and pathetically easy once you understand what to do. Although the Devil takes a lot more time to beat so he'd be the contender here. Just my two cent.

A trick that I use to make the megaman clone in mm1 very easy, is switching to guts man's power at the right time. Guts man's power requires the blocks as fuel. That room has none of those blocks. So if you go guts at the start of the fight, go to the far left corner, the clone will eventually turn his back to you and do nothing as guts. Watch his pattern of moves for right moment to switch to any other weapon and hit him. Then before the clone can hit you, switch back to guts man power where he again can do nothing to you and eventually will get locked into a walking pattern where he will turn his back to you. With this strategy I have perfected the clone without need for a select glitch or save states. Its guts light green light and the clone never gets a chance to hit me

Copy robot is still the hardest but with knowledge of his ai he becomes even easier which what happens is when you press fire he jumps and shoots no matter what so using super arm you can chain an infinite combo that will never fail

1 - Mega Man's clone is absolutely terrifying to fight because he's basically equally as powerful as you. I recommend not only going into the room with full health as stated but also with the Super Arm selected. You can't lift nothing, and he can't lift nothing. The only blocks are you both being blocked from shooting something at each other. Proceed when you're ready! 2 - It's mostly hard on the eyes lmfao 3 - Top Spin is a weapon that Top Man uses but he's a bottom, heheh. YD in this one does actually pose more of a challenge to me than in 1. Yeah. 4 - I don't think Dr. Cossack knew how to make a death castle, and honestly I'd sau that maybe was on purpose. Tako Trash is a goofy fella but sometimes the hitbox is weird. 5 - Wily Machine V is actually pretty hard. Like, good god. I usually forget because as cool as I am I usually get shattered by Dark Man form 4. Laser bread shields, glue bazooka shoulder beam, but without sure yeah I'm capable. 6 - Wily Machine VI is actually pretty cool in my opinion. Not the hardest, but on par with hardest in 6 by far. 7 - Bruh. 7 is amazing, but this is kinda absurd... 8 - the game itself to be perfectly honest. I could play with the game on mute but I need the sound cues. After Migraine No. 2 on my first and so far only playthrough, I shut the game off despite having finished off Grenade Man, since he wants it. B - yeah. Even as Bass it took me 20 minutes between deaths on the tank. There were several. 9 - It takes me a few tries to actually figure out how to bounce the eggs back. Even when I do, I'm not necessarily gonna have any health to deal with part 2. 10 - This is the worst thing in the entire game. I had diarrhea just hearing this. 11 - I've had a little bit more trouble with the YD, but my memory isn't fresh. Let's see what I got!

Actually mega 11 final boss can be beaten without using the speed gear. I know this because I actually did it a few years back when I got the game as a challenge for myself.

It IS possible to beat Wily Machine 11 without the gears, I didn't use them at all...perhaps I should have, maybe that's why MM11 underwhelmed me a bit?

X6 and X7 would repeat the same mistake that MM&B made for their second fortress stages (squeezing in multiple annoying bosses in one stage). X6 has High Max and Gate, though they're slightly less annoying than the Nightmare Mother (that one can burn in hell), but I only say that because Gate himself is still a son of a bitch to defeat. X7 has Red, the boss rush, and both Sigma Phases, all of whom take forever to defeat, lack any actual weaknesses (your buster is better than the 8 weapons X7 gives you), and are just downright BORING to fight.
