I remember doing the Risky Score Attack back when P4AU was only on Xbox 360 and PS3. My 16 year old self thought it was a GREAT idea to beat all 4 Risky Courses with EVERY character, including the 3 DLC characters. It was the only way to get more Navigators in Golden Arena Mode. Needless to say, it was absolutely hell. I'm never doing it again.

You're an OG fr, just came across your channel. I feel your pain with risky difficulty boss mode characters as I fought all of them a couple months ago. I defeated everyone but the velvet sisters and Marie (I don't remember if i beat marie or not). It was absolute hell; Im a Narukami main too and I'd say im better than the average player. I been playing the P4AU switch port since it came out. Im progressively getting better with him as I play the game and watch Persona Fight Club videos to learn more Narukami combos. Congrats on beating Risky Score attack mode and I look forward to watching more of your videos.

I'm far, FAR from a competitive player but I know a few combos here and there. With Yosuke. Imagine the pain and suffering I felt for HOURS trying to just beat Elizabeth ONCE. Her boss mode legit made me think that I should just delete the game or just quit altogether. I finally got it...after two weeks. And it took a friend of mines a month of DAILY attempts with the same character. It cannot be understated how ANNOYING she is in general. With every other fight alongside it AND the other Velvet Sister? I'm happy with my current mental state, thank you very much.

Congrats on beating it, Liz used to be so much easier in previous versions, but then they made Ghastly Wail grab you midair anyway and now it's just a shitshow when she gets in Awakening. One thing you can do against her is spam projectiles, she'll always respond with Mamudoon (normal or SB version) even if you're fullscreen, i don't remember if Thanatos is fully invincible during the animation, but regardless, Liz can't use her persona attacks for a while and her AI doesn't seem to know what to do in that situation, so IIRC she just runs at you and you can hit her pretty easily. It's the safest way to fight her once she's in Awakening (if you can't be near her because of Ghastly Wail, and can't be far away doing nothing because she'll heal), because you break her persona pretty quickly, then just rush that shit down lol. Margaret is straight up a slot machine though, it really does seem to be whether or not the game will let you win.

I remember going through Risky Score Attack on the 360 version, but I should definitely try the 2.0 versions in the Steam version sometime. Definitely not doing the extra challenge of "No Continues," that's too much, especially because of Liz.

I know its not the most relevant to the video, but I just picked up P4AU as my first 'traditional' fighting game (I've played Smash since Wii, but that's more or less it), and I wanted to know if you had any tips you'd be willing to give out? If it helps any, I'm mainly trying to learn Yu and Aigis

Giving tips on those characters in only a comment is a bit overkill, but if you have Discord and don't mind joining a server, then I recommend joining the Persona Fight Club server. The invite code is P4AU and there are dedicated channels to all the characters as well as people who play the characters who can help you out. If you pull up to the Narukami chat I can give you some more in depth help there

I used to play this game a lot. Like A LOT. I even fought Moopoke at one point. I only ever managed to clear one risky score attack course, I did it with Labrys and Elizabeth took me 6 hours to beat. Managed to beat every boss character in the game except for Ken. Also, I don’t remember Adachi being on any of the score attack courses. Was this a modern port thing only? I played on PS3.

Combo challenges just take time more than anything to figure out the timing and inputs. You can try Sho or Shadow Labrys and see if those feel easier for you since those alongside Margaret are on the easier side
