Hey Adam and Josh (and crew)! I've been watching your cafe/restraunt challenges for maybe 4 years now. My friend told me that he watches you and since then I've been hooked. I go on 20 video binges every now and then and only since yesterday have I been watching your podcasts through youtube. I've also subscribed to Breaking Beard (clever play on words) on Spotify! I think this playful banter between you and Josh on the pod is very dynamic. I like how you two make fun of each other with almost everything .Podcasts that do that with 2 hosts always have a good following- We love the 'drama'! I don't mind the details of the after effects of too much food intake- in fact, I'm so very curious about it all. You're both really funny and I know some people don't understand what is said when you both talk fast but I can understand it all. I'm Greek and living on a Greek island (left Athens with my 12 year old son 9 years ago) but went to an English school and my mum is part English so all this is very refreshing and relatable. PS Love the punk/ska references and tributes. Reminds me of way back when I was in my punk phase (still am). Lots of love from way over here ❤ Kate. My Instagram is: @eddwinawins. Followed you on there too (naturally) xxx

Just wanted to touch in the Bare grills mentioned, I went into that one myself early in my competitive eating journey and was incredibly apprehensive knowing just how big your tray of food was! Though I knew the challenge had undergone some changes meaning it would be smaller, what I can tell you is mine was a total disappointment by comparison. No more than 6lbs at most and all the meat was precooked and essentially reheated on the grill drying out any remaining semblance of moisture, the brisket especially was just painful to chew through whilst pretending it was actually an enjoyable experience in the video! Anyway, this opened my eyes very early on in this journey that there are huge disparities in what each challenger is served depending on who’s working that day and what mood they’re in! Huge fan of BEARD since day one and still a casual part time listener of the podcast.

Always surprising to hear Vermont thrown out in one of your podcasts. If you come back you should also check out the Ben and Jerry's factory and try to eat one of their Vermonsters. Something like 20 scoops of icecream and all the fixings. Not sure if its a real challenge, but I bet it would make a great video.

@miketroy45583 ай бұрын
The restaurant lays down rules, so the contestants should too. (1) Your other customers get napkins and utensils; I shouldn't have to ask for them. Lots of food needs lots of napkins! (2) If you set a time limit, you shouldn't delay the run by asking me questions; I only have one mouth. I will comment on the food and surroundings, but it's not an invitation to hold a bloody press conference. (3) The onlookers can shoot all the videos they want, but please don't delay me. (4) Don't deliver the meal blazing hot, and don't keep milkshakes and ice cream sodas in the freezer. Brain freeze is a mean trick. (5) Servers typically keep an eye on their customers to fill their every need. Be there for me if I want a Coke, more napkins, etc. (6) If a timed challenge involves more than one delivery, anticipate my needs and don't let me lose five minutes waiting for the kitchen to cook it. (7) My video will advertise your restaurant to millions worldwide. If I suggest the music or TV is too loud, turn it down, please.

Don't know what it is. I have been to 14 different countries and met many Brits and Aussies. They know how they were told of pronunciation, but apparently refuse to pronounciate correctly. They were okay people, and they still refuse to acclimate to the country they are in. They receive a little flak and are immediately offended. Try to stay away from them in my world.
