I like how quiet it is compared to the air powered ones. Also, if you think about it, the cost of buying a good quality air compressor that will run a 1” gun will outweigh the cost. Admittedly, I know that every shop already has a compressor and that they are far more versatile. But if you have a mobile tire truck I can’t see anything better.

I set 6 ft. Long utility pole anchors in the ground with this thing...coat the battery tray slots with dielectric grease if your gonna be hammering something for 2 or 3 mins nonstop.or the batteries may become seized in place.

Fantastic video. I am getting one of these Ingersol Rand 1" cordless impacts for my farm service truck. Thank you very much for doing your video.

In Australia a dugga dugga is an impact wrench unit of measurement. For eg _"You need tighten these bolts to 10 dugga dugga's or 6 dugga dugga's etc etc"_ 🤣

altho its a nice review, it can be hard to properly test these type of tools, sure undercarriage work on a dozer is hard but to really see how those tool performs, it would need bigger piece of equipment. for example, i had 1'' guns that struggled on track shoes of a Deere 350G

I’m definitely an IR fan of all their products. I have all the cordless tools except this. Does this blow the Milwaukee 1” away ? Great channel, great info as always!!!

I own both the milwaukee is much easier to deal with and will break most any bolt..But IR is on another level. As it should be,it's higher voltage and twice the size and weight.

That thing is a beast,i wonder what the voltage drop is on 1 big rig lug.if you acheive voltage drop on 1 lug you can calculate how many lugs it can remove with one round of batteries.great video you the man.

Well I know how many I can do with a 1” Milwaukee on a single 12ah. And it’s about twice the gun that one is. So well over an entire trucks worth.

Nice Impact! Hopefully you'll review the Durofix RI60176E looks to be a bit less money, but a tad lighter with a couple more precise settings. Both are awesome👍🏼

@@brettwalkom948 Correct from what I remember of the last update it was a bear to handle as-well before it took a 💩 🤷‍♂️. IR and Milwaukee seem to be the only quality cordless ticket in town for now👍🏼

So between the Ingersol and Milwaukee which would you go with if say you had a large lineup of Milwaukee m18 tools in the shop?

How are you testing the accuracy? Without a real system i.e. AKO transducer no way to tell that level one was even close to 10% accurate.
@WorkshopAddict
@WorkshopAddict 2 жыл бұрын
This is an impact wrench. It is not accurate in any way. You will get different toque hits on different sized bolts and nuts. It just gets you close.
@brettwalkom948
@brettwalkom948 2 жыл бұрын
Well for starters I know it wouldn't be close to ten percent accurate.. It's an impact wrench.. You use your head..

so this is why Milwaukee came out with an updated D handle. also, does IR need to protect their batteries from the impacts? Milwaukee seems to have issues their batts getting beaten up.

But honestly....WTH did you think a 30lb impact wrench would or should do. Given strong full size 4.5lb impacts will put out an honest 800ft lbs, I expect at that big 1" huge mess to be able to lift God. It's 7X the weight of a 800lb 1/2" gun.
