They must have brought their crucifixes from a cheap supplier. Not the ones our investigators use. Might be why Sunny Meadows is so fucked, especially in the Chapel. Should be canon.

My gold trophy was on my first attempt, it was a Myling that was spawning downstairs and coming up through the central stairway. Easy to identify, I could hear it on paramic running from the stairs to the chapel but couldn't hear it without the paramic. Easy objectives - firelight, paramic whisper, escape ghost (which I had to do to get the photo anyway). Dropped a few firelights between the stairway and the chapel, waited in the chapel to smudge > take photo > hide behind organ.

Yeah i had a banshee and the ghost room was on the right one of the first few rooms. Firelight, ghost photo and emf which were all doable. The scariest moment was when you have everything and youre on your way back, without any smudge sticks and hes about to hunt or hunts again

I was that lucky that I had a DEO also doing it first try with firelight, escape the hunt and cleanse and I didn’t reset once😊

I got it done with a deogen lol. It cant catch you at all as long as you keep moving so it made the challenge much easier, that said if you get anything else you really need to get it close to the chapel room, had a thaye but that ended up catching me, also had a banshee on other attempt.

for me personally t3 paramic is also crucial item. Entering asylum and when ghost start hunting i can already say if it's actually in close range or not from safe distance. And it's a lot easier to know what ghost it is. Literally everyone who can change speed + banshee scream + polter ability/throwing items.. It's huge time saver, and everytime Insym searching for ghost and relaying on hearing it, while at lowest player speed possible it is pain. It's so easy to die this way. I mean it's fine, its his game, but holy how he underestimate this item. But anyway, i was really unlucky with getting Deo, that would be easiest challenge to do. After ~10-15 attempts, i actually completed with a kitchen Poltergeist. So, literally the worst way possible, lol. I also didn't had all t3 items at the time, including NVG and t3 paramic, unfortunately.

I actually ended up doing this with a deo lmao. I was so happy when I heard it instantly sprinting towards me from afar with the T3 Mic. Although I will say having it right on your ass the entire time is terrifying and really makes you twitch as you do not want to stop at all. I opened the doors to the chapel before hand and just ran it around in circles in their for the candle, easy photo as its so slow, para mic was easy enough as well. Started hunting as soon as I got to the door which was bad but ended up going around it and walking in big circles again. So happy to have this done.

This Challenge is also a bit RNG. Since you have no actual hiding Spots like Lockers, the Ghost just might simply come to you. I've got pretty lucky with a Deogen in the Kitchen Area that was slightly slower than me (even with that Bad Modifiers) and i got doable Objectives with EMF (easy, just place it where the Ghost is going to interact with something during a hunt), Prevent a hunt with the Crucifix and Caputure a Ghost Photo. It took a while to bring the Crucifixes in the Ghost Room, but i did it eventually. It is crazy though that it still takes about 15 - 20 Seconds for the Ghost to come to you when you entered the House I almost died of laughter though, because that Deogen insisted on ringing the Reception Bell nonstop if it was anywhere close to it.

It's nice to know you don't have to get a perfect game for this trophy. I'm not ready to try this challenge yet because 1) I'm only lvl 72 and want T3 Crucifix, and 2) I'm not very knowledgeable with no evidence stuff. I certainly can't tell a ghost based on speed. But I've been able to muster up my courage to try and stick around the house longer and risk hunts thanks to your videos. Maybe someday I'll complete this challenge.

you can do it at low level although I would say get at least tier 3 headgear. I ended up doing it as soon as I hit 90 and got it pretty quickly in terms of attempts. Spent like over an hour though resetting for the stupid annoying objectives. Dont even really have much time into the game either, just watching insym and psycho play the game every once in a while helps you understand what ghost you are dealing with as they always talk about the abilities.

one big thing of ascension update for firelight is that, getting EMF objective done is as easy as firelight if you put them next to each other and the ghost blow out the light during hunt and the EMF signal counts

Honestly very happy to see you return to this challenge. I was able to complete this when if first released, seeing it now with the new items is interesting. Can't decide which is harder. The Original challenge with a few hiding spots (rip bookshelf) and basic item; or the current challenge with almost no hiding and much stronger items.

All the photo's you can actually see the ghost in .... not a ghost photo .. 0 stars. The ONLY photo you can't see anything but a hazy black blob ... 3 stars baby woohoo! xD

the photo system is very bad some times cause if there is interaction or salt around the ghost it usually pick that instead of the ghost even though the ghost is lit in the picture ( I wish they made it a way that the ghost photo have priority, especially during the hunts cause some times it's so annoying when you smudge the ghost and take the picture and open your book and see a ghost in your face but the pictures says 1 star interaction

I got my golden trophy pre-tool update after trying for like 12 hours over the course of 2 days. I was bullied by a phantom for almost 2 hours, until I finally managed to get a Phantom "ghost photo" on my last crucifix "arm". The relief and adrenaline that followed was headache inducing.

I did this the cowardly way xD but hey, if it works it works! I just reset until I got doable objectives, brought in all my gear, set up in the foyer - using all the tier 3 salt to make a pathway down the entire entrance for photos - and used a timer to ensure I could time out the hunt with smudges. Took some time, but hardest part ended up being resets and having to slowly walk to the truck

I got my trophies today YOU GUYS CAN SO IT! I’m a mediocre player, I can swing Nightmare consistent, the occasional insanity depending on ghost. My bronze was a semi fluke, revenant with easy objectives next to a hiding spot.

I decided after two silver fails to go straight to gold since the movement speed of ghost was 150 anyway. I sat in the chapel until I could hear the ghosts hunts outside. Lined the hallway with salt and a sound sensor. Ended up getting normal speed, stepped in salt, didn’t speed up ever even with sound sensor, and I heard it throw a bunch of shit in hallway so I wagered poltergeist either stepping from behind piano, attracting ghost, taking photo and smudging, then hiding back behind piano.

My friend & I tried the weekly challenge and the first Ghost we had was a Thaye... I don't know how I survived but DAMN! That Ghost was fast! We guessed it wrong, tho. We were between a Moroi or a Thaye lmao we felt so dumb.

i got a deogen near the front my very first round, got the ghost photo first hunt, got it to blow out a candle, got the EMF, BUT i couldnt get the motion sensor to detect the ghost, i was so heart broken

I'm working my way up to doing this. I'm still leveling, though, so I can get T3 equipment, but while I'm doing that, I'm trying to get better at 0 evidence runs at the very least. I think my main struggled with guessing the ghost for the challenge will be hearing the speed difference since I'm not quite used to 150% ghost speed.

I've only tried to do this challenge a handful of times and each time it was close to the door and killed me in the first or second hunt lol. The gold trophy is the only one I'm missing. Though, the settings for this week's challenge was the most fun settings I've played with even though I already die a lot in normal games.

Yeah, it's a custom challenge, the Gold Apocalypse Challenge will have a 15.00x multiplier, so it's extremely high risk but also very high reward

I got my gold trophy first attempt. I reset for objectives once. I got a deo on my first attempt going inside the building and managed to get the photo and do all 3 objectives in a single hunt, before running into the room next to the entrance with the desk to loop. I didn't do a mimic check because I used more smudges than I would have liked to get the photo, but it still was a deo. I haven't decided if I deserve the trophy or not, because the odds of getting a deo with good objectives first try are extremely low, and I am not sure if I feel satisfied getting the easy way out.

How can you recognize hunts via lightswitches? I've seen you flicker lightswitches to see if there is a hunt or not, what's the tell there exactly?

You can't flick light switches during hunts, so if you can flick light switches while hunting, it means the hunt is over.

during the weekly challenge, I got a Jinn, the T3 motion sensor (I didn't try with T1 and T2) triggers its ability so it is possible to find it EDIT : nevermind, I switched it with the Raijou

@@LoLLyPL the Jinn speeds up near electricity and the motion sensor Tier 3 (to be tested for the other two) worked when I did the challenge. I didn't know so I was perplex when far it was at a normal speed and near me (where the sensor was) it sped up

For Gold you need a ghost photo, complete all objectives, guess the ghost correctly and survive.

they all are the same you need to get the ghost correct and do all the objs and take the ghost photo in sunny meadows but when you go to custom difficulty you can see a bronze, silver and a golden skull picture on it, and they have the name on it apocalypse 1,2,3
