Not to Sillintors discredit, cause he's better than I'll probably ever be but, MAN this really puts in perspective how good top level players really are. Nairo beating the ironman, marss having runs winning with dozens and dozens in a row... They made it look easier than it really is for sure

It’s not even necessarily top players, but just shows you the difference between character knowledge. You can be a top player and still barely know how to play anyone that isn’t your main or pocket secondaries. Likewise, you don’t have to be a pro to have a decent grasp of a character. Just depends on the person

@@slam6802 I actually don't FULLY agree, but solely based of what I personally meant when I said "top player" and what I view a top player to be. I get what you're saying and agree with some points, but not totally. Look at Leo, Spargo, Tweek, Esam, Nairo, Void, Larry, Marss, light... They all have AMAZING game sense, strong fundamentals, and great character knowledge, so they can play almost every character so well (maybe not to a professional level, but to a level where EVERY character on the roster is in elite w/ 10+ mil gsp with ease, while most casual struggle to ever even SEE elite smash with their main.) Alternatively, there are players who do SO well with one character (guys like elegant, t3 Dom, peanut...) But to me, they aren't what I PERSONALLY call top players haha. The REAL top players I mentioned earlier do NOT struggle to play without their main or pocket secondaries at all lol I've seen it and felt it in person, they're on a different level. Now don't get me wrong, it's TOTALLY possible there's some casual out there somewhere totally unknown who's a beast and could win an iron man and we'll just never hear of it. But bringing that up is just that, an unknown. You don't see Sillintor, peanut, Dom, etc doing AMAZING iron man runs. But have Leo, tweek, Nairo, void, etc do a run and they have the skill to win, so they get far. So it IS necessarily top players haha at least IMO

I personally really find the harsh rule of "restart" so ancient. We have 80+ characters in the dang game. Simply getting 1 win with each, is good enough imo.
