I'd like to thank you for doing these. I can't thank anyone who posts tutorials enough for the impact they have on people's lives. Due to health issues I can't work a traditional job so this is my means and I love that it's my reality. I still have a lot of room to improve and am still collecting different guages of wire, but I'm excited to be where yr at one day and to keep learning the techniques that you show us. Hi Nolan, I'm new to component (frame) style of wire work. Do you have (as you are a FANTASTIC educator, educator being the operative word!! lol) tuts for beginners? I can't tell you how many instructors SHOW you how to do things, but not WHY. Any help or direction you can provide would be helpful and gratefully apricated! Thanks a lot! Sandy

I'm trying to do this but I'm using a 5mm oval cabochon that's slippery as hell and does not stay in place. I think my mistake is also trying to do this with round wire instead of square wire, so it's twisting around as I finagle with the 28 gauge.
