My mum's worked in a high school for 25 years, and she says it's worse now than it's ever been. Kids come in at year 7 being cheeky and disrespectful and just get worse as they age up. I loved school and learning but hated people who stopped me learning or messed about. I wish I'd done different GCSEs, but other than that, I think our age group was the last good group.

Sunday and Monday were named after the sun and moon, the rest were named after Greek gods. Tuesday - Ares Wednesday - Hermes Thursday - Zeus Friday - Aphrodite Saturday - Kronos The Romans pretty much just copied the Greek gods, just changing their names (though they changed Kronos to Saturn for Saturday). Then the Anglo-Saxons just converted them into what would become English.

Being someone who just wanted to do his work, go home, do his homework, then spend the rest of the day playing video games... I was generally too "innocent" (i.e. I didn't wanna get caught) putting crude stuff into the calculator. So instead I had fun trying to put my name, unique phrases, or little unique animations using the calculator's functionality. I remember that if you did a long string of "1(1)1(1)(1)1(1)(1)1(1)" over and over and over on my calc then hold left or right, it'd look like the 1 was wiggling. Dumb, but amusing.

I also had a lot of trouble understanding an analogue clock as a child and it still takes me a few seconds to work out when I look at one now at 38 years of age. Digital clocks exist so I say fuck it and only use them.

12, 24, and 60 are all much more divisible than 10, 25, 50, or 100, making them convenient to use for seconds, minutes, and hours for ancient civilizations.

I'm almost in my mid 30s, I've dated a couple of girls who had Onlyfans, and a couple different girls who were camgirls. The experience was honestly great. The way I see it is the "persona" that is the onlyfans/camgirl is entirely separate. It's like you wouldn't worry about your significant touching another person's vagina if they were a gynecologist, this is just a more modern, internet only version of that. I'm not quite sure I follow smiths leap from people using onlyfans to people jerking off on the beach, the correlation just feels a bit odd given that pornography as a whole has been widely available before something like onlyfans gained traction. I'm not sure if i'm just misunderstanding the argument being made but to say that the use of onlyfans makes people act a certain way feels largely like a fallacy.
