Great movie! I might've been the only person to recommend this. Or one of a few. Glad you guys loved it. You have no idea how cold blizzards can freeze your muscles, joints, and bones so quick LOL. It's pure torture, even just a few minutes. I felt OB's pain when he came in and had to wrap himself up in blankets by the fire. This is my favorite Tarantino movie. Awesome as always guys!

Don't forget the almost immediate blindness. You can lose your way from 5 feet away. If your rope is broken, you're most likely dead.

Did you recognize one guy was Bill’s brother in Kill Bill, and another was in Django

Omg this is a great one of his films! The fact they can make a film so suspenseful when they never even leave the cabin is amazing

I suggest you to rewatch the Daisy Domergue reaction to the bounty breaking the guitar and you'll understand that was a genuine reaction, with the actress yelling "wtf!" while watching the crew behind the scenes. The point is that was a real 18th century guitar from a national museum. Tarantino wanted the guitar sound like a real one of those times, and the museum was happy to loan it for the movie, but the actor Kurt Russel was not awared about the guitar was not replaced with a false prop before the scene and broke it. After that, the museum told Tarantino not to return or ask for anything again. 🤣

Since there's no way Daisy Domergue would have reacted like that (she would have just been smug, knowing Ruth's death is imminent), keeping it in the film is a kind of Fourth Wall Break.

@dudermcdudeface3674 fifth wall, when actor interact with the crew.

@@LightMovies That's a secondary implication. But the immediate effect is the actor is reminding the audience that she's an actor in a movie. So fourth.

I think you got a russian version of the movie with english audio. Tha chapters are normally written in english in the movie. Anyway, they're just titles of the chapters, not something big you've missed. I did my military service in a mountain corps and temperatures fell under -25° C, expecially in the night. They gave us gelly alchool too, in little salse bags, like the ones you get in McDonald's, because it helps to keep the veins distended for blood circulation. The old general was a confederate in the american Civil War, so that part who wanted to keep black slavery.

Kurt Russell was perfect as Snake in (Escape from New York).

Yeah, that's a classic. It also inspired Solid Snake, from Metal Gear Solid character. Fun fact: Snake Plinskeen is called "Hyena" in some countries (mine included), and that's why the General tells him "you're a Hyena". Great quote/easter egg from Tarantino.

They really are all great movies from Quinton. Django really was amazing, I agree and it was my favorite too. However, listening to this and watching this a second time really help me appreciate it. I could not believe how much I missed the first time. It does help knowing the story though. Lol

But they must be aware of the Sharon Tate's story to enjoy the ending better. If they will put the movie in the poll they must be informed about that.
