Is the abandoned bank of Johnston haunted? Both Sarah and I have experienced strange things since we took over the old bank. Today we’ll tell you a few of the stories with some dramatic reenactments!

Spirits do not like change, especially when somebody comes into their home. When you stop doing things everything calms down nothing will happen. But when you start painting and moving things around, the spirits will become active again. That’s how they work. Nothing to be afraid of they won’t hurt you. But for as old as that building is, i’ll guarantee you. You’ll have a lot of different energies in there and things going on. Once you all get done doing what you’re doing in that building you will notice that things will calm down and stop if it gets too much while you’re there doing things, just tell him to stop it and it should stop. It sounds crazy but I’ll tell you I had a house from the 1800s when I lived in Pennsylvania and it did the same thing and I put up with that for over two years. The best of luck to y’all with that building I love it. I’m glad to see that y’all are fixing it up

All buildings have some type of history. Interesting to hear these stories! Thanks for sharing.

If you are interested, and you can find one, a historical society might have some historical information on the building which you might find interesting. And if there is one, a local library might have some info also.

Interesting stories, I bet this place has so much history! I’ve been in old houses that creek and you hear strange sounds all night so I’m used to those sounds too. I’m excited for your future videos about the old bank!

Love the stories; definitely some freaky things happening. I enjoy horror movies, but having the sensation of someone standing there unseen would creep me out. My hubby would come back and find me sitting in the car😅

That's how it starts in scary movies! Couple buys old abandoned house or building and falls in love with it in spite of the odd things that happen within until one day it takes over your soul.....LOL

I admire both of you very much as you have an awesome work ethic and if things go wrong you just deal with it and get on to the next thing. I think the old folks (the ones long gone👻) would be most happy you are getting their old haunts all fixed up and pretty again 🙂I think they would be like Casper the friendly ghost👻👻 🙂Love your channel!!! 👻👻👻👻

Energy doesn’t disappear. Imagine all the people that have gone through that building and left a part of themselves. They may be happy that you’re there to take care of the place. I live in a 150yr old home and there is activity. It’s fairly mild because I’ve asked for them to just “chill” and if they want to show up as orbs, I’m ok with that. I do not want to see them as full body apparitions. lol You can always do an evp session to ask who’s there. You may or may not get a response. The worst thing for me is the bats that get into the house. They fly around my room at 2 am and stress me out. But I have a butterfly net and have gotten pretty good at catching them.

The bats would definitely not be welcome here either. At least not inside. Thanks for watching!

Well guys, it's an old building that's been standing for a very long time, and down thru the decades there have been a lot people in and out of the old place. And with all old buildings like this one nobody really seems to know the complete history of the place. So it's hard to tell what happened there down thru the years. What you could try, budget permitting of course, is placing cameras in various places in the building and see if you film any movement in there, or maybe record any sounds.

I would definitely want to sleep inside a tent inside the bank. Keep the snakes and other critters away. Plus ghosts don’t like camping.

I don't doubt it, I don't believe in ghosts either but there was a time when I was a teenager when my friends and I broke into an abandoned mansion from the 1800s in my hometown and we heard the loudest bang from upstairs and shortly after saw a flash of something about 6ft tall across the room. There was only one way in and that's the way we broke into the house so even though we were spooked, we gathered courage (after 30 mins of back and forth) and checked the rest of the house and there was nothing. Really weird. But that's the closest I have to believing. With that said, I have always said that if a ghost was to actually reveal itself to me....I have a plan. Tell it to stop messing around and sit down for a beer...at least watch me drink a beer, and we can catch me up on events since they died. I mean come on, how can the ghost harm me at point? When everyone else screams, runs away and throw holy water at you...I chose to hang out with you and Im your only friend. Idk, that's my logic...I will let you know if it works lol

Sorry guys but whether you believe it or not you have spirits, ghosts, etc. I have had tons of experiences like what you are experiencing. As long as you don’t freak out they’ll leave you alone. It is a fact that when you renovate they get woken up and want to know what you’re doing to their place. They have probably been there for awhile.
@Jimburu
@Jimburu 3 ай бұрын
Open your mind, Dray! These experiences are not random mistakes or acts of nature. You are making changes to an old building which has residents. I live in a haunted house and can testify there are ghosts.

The snakes can all live outside, but I won’t have one as a roommate. The neighborhood cats take care of the rodents I believe since we haven’t seen anything but a palmetto bugs, a couple of snakes and cats..

Human spirits do not hang around after death, they go back to God, however there are supernatural beings surrounding us, but they're not 'ghosts' of departed humans.
