As a local I've driven on that road numerous times. Never experienced anything out of the ordinary but then again I didn't go out looking for it either. Throughout the years, I've heard numerous people claim to have seen the apparitions of children (that died in the fire) ducking in and out behind the trees alongside the tree covered portion of the road at night.

I grew up on a farm in Wisconsin in the 60s-70s. No matter where the country road is it’s creepy. Because of no street lights like you have in town. When it’s windy on dark nights your headlights shine on the trees and they’re blowing. Yes, any country road can be creepy. Especially if there’s spooky stories that go with the area. Fun channel.

Thank you for another informative and fascinating tale - old Lewis Weary sure is someone to look out for and I can't help thinking of how his family first got the name "Weary"... Your views of the road during the say - and especially at night - are certainly unsettling; that deer seemed to have felt so too!

In my research about his father Jacob and his parents, I learned the last name was originally Wehry and then later it changed to Weary. It's a German name I believe. Yeah the deer was making me nervous. I was worried he was going to run into the side of my car when I drove past him.

Man, that road gives me the creeps. Many years ago, a group of friends and I decided to check it out. Never again. It's been said that once you travel down the tunnel of trees, you're supposed to turn back around at the "T intersection," and that's when's spirits will greet you on your way back through the tunnel. We even stopped the car on the bridge, put it in natural, and even through its flat land, the car rolled backwards and stalled out on us. By the time we got it started up, we took off. Then we saw those vanishing headlights gaining on us and it seemed to be a truck but they literally disappeared as we got closer to the HWY. Great video though man, I enjoyed it! Keep up the good work 👍🏻

It's a scary road at night simply because it's in the middle of nowhere. My biggest concern would be wildlife and oncoming cars as well. Not a place you'd want your car to break down for sure. The apparition could be that of the teenage boy, Matthew, who lost his life. I wonder if there are a bunch of pyromaniacs in that area. I'm just glad I don't live there.😌
@StrangeandSinister15 ай бұрын
Rounding those curves was making me nervous, and the road is so narrow. Yeah you definitely wouldn't want to break down in the area by the bridge, it's extremely remote. One of the legends is if you park on the bridge and turn the vehicle off, it won't start. I decided it was best not to test that one lol.

The first two times I went out there didn't see anything. The third time I was out there with friends, we had some creepy stuff happen. The 3rd time I went out there was with my friend Will and his sister at 10pm on a summer night 8 years ago. Will and I had seen a ghostly white figure at the bridge by the railing. We were walking up to the bridge from the wooded part where the car was parked. His sister Melissa sat in the car. As we got closer to the bridge, we saw something standing there. We thought it was the sign to the bridge, but when we got closer- it took the shape of a person. When we got 20 feet from it, it just disappeared. Once at the bridge the sign would have not been able to be seen from the angle we were at when we were walking up earlier. While standing at the bridge, I asked if there was anything is out here, and if so- make yourself known. We both heard a tree branch snap above us. I asked it to do it again, and it did! This really freaked us out a little and went back to the car in a fast walk. When we get back to the car, his sister said she wanted to leave now, due to seeing these white orbs floating around the trees. She said she saw a light at the end of the road that kept appearing and disappearing. Since then I have been out that 3rd time, the road never seems to dissapoint- and something always seems to happen while am out there. On a side note, you should go investigate Paradise Road outside of Jefferson Wisconsin. I have stories to tell about that place as well. I love your videos, and just became a subscriber!

@@StrangeandSinister1 @StrangeandSinister1 You must do it! Yes I do. Paradise Road- Jefferson, Wisconsin. My friend Will and I drove down this road early evening and got out at the 1st part before the wooded section, and heard screaming coming out of the woods. We continued to drive down the rest and got to the edge of the treeline to the woods and heard what sounded like fingernails tapping on the roof of my car. Pulled the car over once we got into the woods and we both got out and nothing was there- but the tapping continued for another 15 seconds and then just stopped. There is a legend that three sisters that were witches and were hung in the trees. So maybe it was one of them doing the tapping. There is also the teacher that got three of her students to kill her husband out there.

@@StrangeandSinister1 I am fine with you using my story, and I can back it up with my friend's testimony of that tapping on the roof. Other than the tapping on the roof of my car (2007 Toyota Corolla S) and the screaming we heard, don't have any others for that road.
