It sucks to see that so much work was put into the set design, costumes, etc. and the writing just couldn't carry the film. Such a shame. This movie is still a guilty pleasure for me though haha!

@@scoutart1508 Cat in the hat was amazing to watch when we were all kids but I still enjoy that crackhead movie now as an adult. I can totally see why it bombed but it’s still an overall fun movie to watch 😂

So I can explain some of that. Apparently they cut out a huge portion of the movie to meet the time requirements. A lot of it explained the whole backstory better

Haunted Mansion has fired up my imagination for neatly 17 years! What secret lies behind the HM walls? What exactly makes it so haunted? These questions have haunted me since I was 7 years old. I remember watching the music video Grim Grinning Ghosts on VHS. The moment I saw those infamous gates close I was begging to be let in again so I could explore. I have never ridden Haunted Mansion personally but thanks to Disneyland sing alongs and many awesome you tube videos I have been there many times in spirit.Disney unfortunately dose not come cheaply but as Robert Carlyle( a.k.a Rumpelstiltskin from once Upon a Time) All magic comes with a price dearie.
