I’m not into westerns, so I haven’t read anything else by Louis L’amour, but I read this book long ago and loved it. Unfortunately there is still no audiobook available for it anywhere, and nowadays I only consume audiobooks since I can listen while I use my eyes for my artistic projects and listening has always been far more relaxing for me than reading, which for me turns any text into a chore, like a school assignment. Rather against the point of reading for pleasure, right? So thank you for making this reading, even if it’s only the 1st chapter. I hope eventually you or another might do a full reading, but for now, at least there’s this. :)

This is my favorite book of his and please stay patient, I will read the whole thing eventually! True thoughts, school tries to introduce, when it’s not assigned the magic flows easier on your own pace. I hope you find my channel as soothing as you wish to achieve, especially out here. Hearing it read aloud again helps you rediscover. I recommend you also listen to my narrative of Rain On The Mountain Fork, it’s a bit of a whodunit on top of a western.

I’m glad to even get this kind of reaction, if I can better myself for the good intentions of this channel. I’ve also uploaded Horse Heaven, Rain on the Mountain Fork, if I remember correctly those stories of his were clearer.

This novel WILL surprise. Subbed to you, friend. I’ve been generally reading Louis Lamour since 2008 and I’m still not done! I recommend you listen to my uploads of Rain On The Mountain Fork or Horse Heaven while you wait. One of my favorite authors.
