11:04 "Why did you let her go in there". I'd say she did the right thing. She was already about to get killed but Flora saved her life, and by doing so Flora was about to die instead of Dani. It would been wrong to trade a 8 year olds life to save a 25 year old. Dani owed it to her to try and save her back, and she did.

- I think the reason that Dani survived being dragged so long while Peter didn't was because she was much smaller than him. All of his weight was on his neck, so his larger size worked against him. - For one moment we had a Dani, Jamie, Flora family. - Lily = Dare you to love me. Moonflower = I'm not sick of you.

Right? Like what if, don't hate me anyone, we could explore some revisionist history where Dani doesn't save Flora or just didn't make it to the lake in time? It's all i think about.

@@tgardner11 Dani is the hero of the story in every way, though. She's the one who breaks the endless curse on the mansion. She doesn't only save Flora. I think the core theme is essentially the profound meaning of love despite the immanence of death. And so the poetic justice is that Dani gets to have love within this story, even though she goes into it knowing she will certainly die. I would not actually want this changed. to be honest. I hate the bury your gays trope. But I think this isn't it, because it doesn't kill their love, isn't a punishment for being queer, and instead touches on real loss, terminal illness, honest human themes. So I am down.
