In the Two Storms episode, they were shooting multiple takes of a scene and after a few, Henry Thomas spotted someone (an Easter Egg Ghost) lurking in the background. He then asked the director, "Has that guy been there the entire time?" Even the cast didn't know when they were there.

The Eulogy was probably some of the best dialogue in the entire season, which is saying a lot considering how good this shows dialogue is

Its an easter egg ghost they are literally in every episode but hard to see, they dont have anything with the story. I mean they technically do but they dont interfere with anything

kaizoku_jesse yes I noticed them in the 2 storms episode, when Olivia walks in and out of the rooms looking for Nellie, the statues alternate between looking at her to looking away... sooooo freaky

Know this is 3 years old but I've been watching a lot of reactions to this show and I wanted to say that Melanie is very smart and on it. Not everyone I've seen has put it together as fast as she has, a lot of times some people will be a little confused or take a little to understand but shes been very quick.

Yeah, my mom actually knew I was gay years before I did, possibly around that age. I didn't know she knew. It made coming out to her a weird experience. "Mom, I have to tell you.. I'm gay." "Uh, yeah, I know." "You know? Since when?" "I've known since you very very young!" Your mom knows more about you than you think she does. >_>

Okay, I watched all the other episodes .... I didn't know you guys were starting this and that one shot scene with the groundskeeper telling Hugh about his family history at Hill House was amazing. The house had all those issues to distract Hugh while it fed on his wife and children. Hugh kept Olivia grounded, he was the support and I think that's why Hugh is always saying he can "fix" something.
