My late father bought a small Hall chair from Inverary Castle back in the seventies . Beautiful chair , wooden and carved with the Castle Emblem . I inherited it years ago and it sits in my bedroom . My 64 year old teddy bear and my big brothers 70 year old teddy bear sit on it . Yes , I am older lady 😅 I think it was back when the Castle suffered from a fire and some items were sold off to raise money for repairs . Thank You for another excellent video . ❤

I’ve always loved the history surrounding Rob Roy. Also, on our first trip to Scotland we went on a tour of Inveraray castle, and due to a mix up of time the tour guides had already gone home. So our tour was led by the Duchess Eleanor herself! Absolutely wickedly hilarious woman, so much fun and such a gracious host. A highlight of our trip! I love weaponry so their huge room full of historic weapons was an amazing sight. From floor to stories high ceilings are displayed weapons of all sorts! It was amazing. We’ve been back to Scotland twice since then - three times within a year and a half! I absolutely adore it! Thanks for such an awesome channel 🖤🖤🖤

I've been to Inveraray Jail a few times but only once I was somewhat 'pushed out' of new jail. Been walking inside exploring and was about to leave, slowly approached the exit and had to speed up last few steps as I felt quite heavy energy behind me pushing me out, like when wind pushes you from behind just there was no wind. Once I stepped over the threshold it was gone, as if nothing had happened, and felt a relief. Quite weird.

My Scottish Ancestry comes from the Scottish Lowlands. "Pringle" was the family name - and there is an incredibly dark story associated with that name. There are ruins still there - and I found some interesting information on the "way back machine." I hope to visit Scotland some day. Much like my Azorian Portuguese Ancestry - people fled these remote areas due to conflicts, bad blood, and sheer boredom.

My Great uncle Captain Frank Murray RAMC, was MO of 8th Argylls and served alongside Iain Campbell The Duke of Argyll who was the battalion Intelligence Officer. The Duke was captured in France 1940 whereas my uncle evaded capture going through the German lines back towards Le Harve. Frank then attempted to swim back but nearly drowned. Luckily he was picked up by a RN Ship in the channel. Iain spent the whole war in a Stalag which had a terrible effect on him. There is a glass case full of material related to this in the castle.
