@Stoned Gremlin Productions That song is Cease to Exist from the album, Lie: The Love and Terror Cult. Which was released in March of 1970. The album consisted of 13 tracks recorded between 1967 and 1968, it included Manson's original arrangement of "Cease to Exist and Look at your Game Girl. The Beach Boys recorded a altered version of "Cease to Exist" called Never Learn Not to Love that was featured on their 15th studio album 20/20.

@@gruthakhul100 This is what I know of the Brad/DT relationship as a fan of both. Brad mentioned them in one of his Midnight Screenings when he was Springfield so he was a fan or knew of their existence in ~2017-2018. He even had a DT shirt. He went to their Chicago show and they all seemed to hit it off. Brad went to Austin in July 2018 and showed up in at least two DT shows. Brad and the DT crew became fast friends and now Brad recommends bad films to Korey Coleman like Tyler Perry's A Fall From Grace.

You are incorrect. Rick Dalton is a fictitious character in a film entitled "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood." The scene where he uses a flamethrower against one of the Manson family killers is fictitious. In fact, the Manson family killers were never killed, but rather imprisoned. They were sentenced originally to be executed, but the death penalty was commuted to a life sentence with the possibility of parole when the California Supreme Court temporarily invalidated the death penalty.

Most people seem to focus on the bad taste of the basic concept, but I'm more astounded at just how poorly it was all done, especially for someone with such an apparently deep knowledge of splatter movies. This whole mess is almost impressive in the way it seems that NO good decisions were made on any level, from the sound, to the casting, to the dialogue, etc., etc. A textbook of what NOT to do.

The 1975 TV movie “Helter Skelter” which was based on the murder trial of Charles Manson. It’s not as bad as this movie. Give it a watch.

Once Upon a Time.....while not as bad.....still appropriated her death for a bro film between two fictional characters and a comedic kungfu fight. It did not come across as alternative history....if that was the case, they should have spent more time getting to know her instead of just portraying her as “pretty happy blonde chick”.

Wait wait wait.... not only did this director make a super exploitative horror movie schlock based off relatively recent real death's using a tin foil hat level of conspiracy bullshit. But he thought it was good enough to fucking use an Edgar Allen Poe quote to lead off with? Poe the grandfather of horror, a master of complex self reflective psychological gothic horror, was put in front of this schlock.... hey look I think I see Icarus in the sky and he's falling.

I had never heard of this movie until now... and I thought it was some forgettable horror flick. I knew it ended up on Brad's worst of list, but I didn't know it starred... Hilary Duff! I was a big fan of hers growing up, watching stuff like Lizzie McGuire, being excited for the movies she starred in at the time, and even owing one of her albums. Even after her time in the spotlight faded, I still loved her, going as far as watching her guest roles in Law and Order and Ghost Whisperer. But now that I know she went from Lizzie McGuire to... this... thing... Oh, man... It was not a pleasant sit through. Watching this video hurt me more than it did Snob. Somebody get me a Lizzie McGuire DVD...

So... *sips Dragonfruit rum*... I'm only 6 minutes in and I gotta say for anyone who gives a shit- asses weren't a thing men or women lusted after in the 60's. In fact, for what was "hot" on women, it was always the skinnier, the flatter *and the whiter*, the better. Look, I get that this is essentially a historisploitation film and the trashier, the better, but when John Waters gets right what your shitty film gets wrong, you probably should pick a different career.

@ He probably murdered his wife, and his fight with Bruce Li came across as way too Mary Sue-ish for my taste (particularly once I heard that Tarantino intended for Cliff to mop the floor with Bruce). Also, the scene in which he beat the hell out of Manson toady Clem vividly reminded me an actual incident in which Manson beat the heck out of a Spahn Ranch farmhand, which forged a mental link in my mind between the two (at least in terms of temperament) that I was never able to shake.

If you have visions of your death, you aren't psychic, you're just a person aware of death existing. Literally everyone has had that thought at least once of "hey what if someone broke in my house and just stabbed the shit out of me." Hell just 10 minutes ago I had the thought "What if I was hit by the bus from Speed. Not like a bus with a bomb on a crash course, just the bus used for the filming of a potential reboot of Speed."

You know, for all the crappy movies Mandy Moore keeps making, at least she had the good sense not to appear in THIS bit of, shall we say, repulsion. (rim shot) Also, the plot feels like it's ripping off Polanski's "The Tenant." Except, well, Roman did it far better. (And more blatantly, it wants to be "Final Destination" as well.)

@Moby D to be fair, if your agent got you a lead role and this got handed to you, would you try to make this dialog work?. THOST is up there with movies like "The Gallows" in giving the actors nothing to work with, and killing any effort to act.

I will say if the interview is real, Tate was surprisingly prescient not only to predict her own death but to believe that Jay Sebring would die with her. That is kind of eerie. Of course that doesn't justify a crappy movie. My Gods, Hilary Duff had better and more intellectual conversations when she was Lizzie McGuire. "It's Roman's fault!" Booo! "Fine, fine pick up that name that you dropped and let's get back inside."
