I love that song SO much. My daughter used to call it daddy's song, because I played it too much for a while. She didn't like it at first, but now she requests it on Alexa all the time. To my ear this is a masterpiece, yet it seems like nobody knows about it. I wonder how many other masterpieces are out there that I would love, but I just never stumbled on?

Yes they are incredible. Helped by a band on the top of their game at the time but this recording could replace the album track in audio quality and interest.

Found myself attracted to this song before paying attention to the lyrics... funny how you can be drawn in to the emotion of a song that way. Lost my brother to a tragic accident this year, and this song is exactly how I feel.

Lyrics: These are just flames Burning in your fireplace I hear your voice and it seems As if it was all a dream I wish it was all a dream I see a world A world turning in on itself Are we just like Hungry wolves howling in the night I don't want no music tonight Can we go on like it once was Every time I hear another story Oh the poor boy lost his head Everybody feels a little crazy But we go on living with it Yeah they go on living with it These are just flames Burning in your fireplace I hear your voice and it seems As if it was all a dream I wish it was all a dream Can we go on like it once was Can we go on like it once was Every time I hear another story Oh the poor boy lost his head Everybody feels a little crazy But we go on living with it Yeah they go on living with it I'll tell you one thing We ain't gonna change much The sun still rises Even with the pain I'll tell you one thing We ain't gonna change love The sun still rises Even through the rain Can we go on like it once was Can we go on like it once was Everybody feels a little crazy Like it once was Everybody feels a little crazy Like it once was Can we go on like it once was

this song still hits so hard. Fantastic live rendition. I saw THATH in Manchester (UK) probably circa 2014. Was a magical night and I cried as some of their songs had some deep resonance for me for personal reasons. Met Joshua at the stage door where he was having a quiet fag (cigarette for you colonials x). Loved him so much hope he's recovered well.
