As a chef, just a couple tips for you. If you use a serrated knife for your tomatoes and other soft fleshy foods, it cuts them easier since a regular chefs knife tends to more of squish it, and with onions if you leave the root on it provides a handle of sort and also limits the release of the enzyme that onions give off that causes tears. Also please tuck your fingers back when using a knife, don't want you to get hurt. Also my favorite recipe to cook is penne rustica

One of my favorite things to make is a simple stroganoff with ground turkey, golden mushroom soup mix, onion soup mix, and sour cream over noodles. (I like recipes with few ingredients.) But I also like making a sticky apricot chicken recipe I got from a certain KZbin couple 😉

Since I left my parents home to go to a university in another city (13 years ago) I've been cooking for myself (and now also for my husband). During graduate school we developed the strategy that works best for us: we cook a menu consisting of 3 to 4 different dishes on Sundays and eat the same menu at lunch from Monday to Friday (we are from Mexico so our main meal is around 1-2 pm). Usually it includes a soup or rice or pasta, a big salad (lettuce-based) and a third dish with veggies or chicken or meat. It used to include dessert but now we substituted that with fresh fruit that we eat as snack throughout the day. That way, during the weekdays we just cook breakfast and then have something very light for dinner when we get home at night. But I'm not going to lie: it takes us between 3 to 6 hours to cook all that (depending on the menu) + the time for buying the groceries. Even so, I think it's worth it ;) However, I know people who don't like eating the same food 2 days in a row, so I guess it wouldn't work for everybody.

Loved the challenge aspect of the video! So cool. The food looks amazing, and this is definitely something I want to look into. I've really gotten into cooking this past year, and my favorite recipe thus far is chicken apple sausage with green apples and bowtie pasta. It's delicious and an awesome fall meal. I made it for my family, and it's their favorite thing for me to make!

hello fresh is totally something I'd do if I was back in college because I was so stupid with sustainable, healthy living back then. But it's actually super doable to do healthy meal prepping throughout a week if you know what you're doing and there's loads of videos on youtube on how to do that. Like for me it costs about £45 to £50 and then that's all my food: breakfasts, dinners, lunch and snacks (aim for 5 or 6 things to eat a day) for a week sorted

It takes me from an hour to about two and a half hours every day to cook a meal form fresh ingredients for three people. Seeing the benefits and the great results in a much better physical health, I gladly spend every second of the necessary time to need for fresh, home cooked food. Very nice of HelloFresh in getting in touch with you, lads. Thanks for the video. Love you loads as always.

You were in my dream this morning, RJ. I was over at your "house" and we discovered that we both liked to play badminton so we played for a while and then you pulled out a questionnaire which you needed my help to answer some of the questions. After that we hugged and then I took a bus home. And that's the dream! Oh, and at one point I told you how I missed your daily vlogs and you were sympathetic.As always, great video! cheers,

Good evening everyone. I cook a lot so my favorite dish, I have made recently ,was this super tasty goulash with meat, pasta, bell peppers, banana peppers, mushrooms, onions, kidney beans, and tomatoes. Took a while to make, but totally worth it. Then I made some Butterfield pork chops with a onion, apple, honey, and brown sugar filling yesterday. Sorry if make people hungry. I like to cook, and this does seem interesting. Might need to check out there website. Also ingenious idea for a video, RJ. What kind of camera's were you using to film this? The food did look really good. I wish for anyone, who reads my ridiculous long comments, to have a wonderful day today or a lovely night tonight. Sincerely Dylan

I've been using one of the other meal in a box services. I do enjoy creating the cooking, but it does become time consuming and after a while I look forward to those nights when I order in or go out. It will take longer then what they say on the recipe card, but you will get better in time. Leftovers are rare since the meals are designed to feed just 2.

I loved this. My mother in law uses Home Chef. She found Hello Fresh to have some weird dishes. I think they're both pretty affordable for fresh food. You end up spending less than going out to a store every damn week. There's also one where they send you the food already made and you just heat it up. They claim it's fresh but obviously that's a lie if all you have to do is nuke it,lol.

I love to cook. Good thing, since I live in Mexico, and I bet no Hello Fresh for me here. I enjoy going to the market and getting fresh veggies and head home to cook them up. I do a lot of steamed vegetables. Steam them up and eat them warm the first day, and cold for three more. No waste. So, all I have to do to finish lunch is to grill a piece of chicken, pork or a hamburger. When I am feeling really fancy, I do Hasselback Chicken. Chicken breast piece. Sliced 1/2 way through diagonally every 1/2 inch or so. Stuff the slits with chopped wilted spinach, feta cheese, and a little salt and garlic. Season with paprika and bake at 350oF until you get to 165oF with a probe thermometer. Delicious when we want to eat well. I have cooked since my college days. I moved out of the dorm with four other guys. We decided to split up jobs, and I looked at them, and decided I did not want to clean up after them, so I said that I would cook! Faked it for three meals, dashed home to my Mom and we did a crash course and found some fool proof cook books, and I have been cooking ever since.

@myrdraal20018 жыл бұрын
Gina Unger it appears so and no matter how much good will and love they amassed through their hard work people will start unsubscribing and leave so that their channels will die off. It is sad, but it's also life. We all grow, change, and evolve. I just hope that there aren't too many people with hurt feelings since nobody forces us to watch.
@dylanjohnston43888 жыл бұрын
They might be doing more sponsor videos for a little bit; because they are moving out of there old apartment. Looks like the rats are back. Unlike last time, they aren't moving next door: so Will might need to take some time off from work, might need a U-Hual, sell some furniture, painting, cleaning, and etc. So we need to be supported.

First thing is to speak with your parents and tell them you're being bullied at school. If they won't stand up for you, contact The Trevor Project online(www.thetrevorproject.org), or PFLAG online(www.pflag.org/), or Lambda Legal online (www.lambdalegal.org). You can call these groups. They will guide you as to what you can do. My personal advice is to refuse to return to school until you get assurance from the school, your parents, or the law, that you will not be bullied. If you know the names of at least one bully, you may be able to get a restraining order against them legally. Lambda Legal should know about that. It HAS been done. If I was afraid for my safety, I would refuse to go back until someone solves the problem, or you transfer to another school. Stand up for yourself, you owe NOTHING to anyone but yourself. It's your life. You can complete your education later. Your safety comes first. Best wishes.

What's the opinion of organic food vs food produced with integrated pest management (i.e. Blend of pesticide free teqniques and responsible usage of pesticide, please read a Wikipedia article on it). I agree that excessive pesticides or fertilizers can be bad, but the benefits are definitely there for responsible use. Tell me what you think below.
