You know Dave how much I appreciate your photography and videography. Also, today, the weight of the circumstances of the pass’ construction and the concern for those who went before us is so palpable and shared. Great job Dave ,my dad came from a mile beyond Glanmore Lake beneath the Healy Pass , I've driven this route many times , sometimes "one eyeing it " in a car but often leaning into those bends and hills on a motorcycle .I remember our first trip down there as little runt teenagers from Dublin on honda and Suzuki 125s and all the oncoming big biker tourists would give us a wave ,we thought we were the bees knees .Anyway thanks Dave you did a great job .

@@WheelieGoodTV KZbin is weird like that it seems. I used to do the clickable end screens and cool intros on my gaming channel with a few thousand subs and found out through taking polls and analytics that people didn’t even care or stay to click lol. Now I just fade from and to black to make it easy. I believe it’s mainly an attention span thing but of course other factors also play a role.

Another beautifully filmed episode Dave, what a fabulous country you live in. I've enjoyed all the series so far....even when you nearly ran out of fuel. However that restored my faith in the GS's instrumentation, I panic if mines showing less than 30 miles in the tank, let alone a couple of miles, and to prove it you then put 19+ litres in a 20 litre tank !! So you've put that one to bed. You deserve far greater viewing figures, but with your quality content I'm sure it will happen. Thanks .

I apologize for my last comment. I had just watched your ride over Sally Gap and your close call with fuel. I watched Freddy Dobbs for a bit but after a while he seemed to go from one bad decision to another. I was just giving you some good natured ribbing on your planning.. I’m cognizant of the difference between you and Freddy. Anyhow, just watched the Healy Pass. I’m a Lynch and my Mom was an O’Brien and Irish history was drilled into me from an early age. I enjoyed your video and love motorcycles, but please investigate your knowledge of the "Famine " and the thousands of roads to nowhere built throughout Ireland, to make starving unfortunate Irish People work for their handouts from the British Colonialists. Famine means No food, Ships of Meat, farm produce,Grains, millions of eggs, left the Ports daily for Britain during this Dreadful Period, and especially in Black 47. We never recovered from it, and still make excuses not to face the facts.
