Yes, "Val" was a very deep and personal documentary on Val Kilmer. It was excellent and I felt very sad for him when they showed his vulnerability, especially the part when his mother died and in that very vulnerable moment said "He missed his mommy" and covered his face to mourn. That part had me in tears. Great documentary for anybody wanting to see it.

Plus, started chemotherapy last week for a rare form of leukemia, but at least I'm not hiding behind a letter, "L". I LOVED Val's performance as Doc Holliday, & I know that I said it. It was in two posts, but I said it. But, I also LOVED his portrayal of Jim Morrison of The Doors. The physical resemblance is uncanny but being Val, he took it a lot further, he was very method in that movie. But, watch the movie and learn about it, I don't like dealing with trash like you.

I can understand why he was labled as difficult to work with. Some directors dont want to inspire the actors or imposing their style. Val's documentary showed the harsh conflict btw director n leading actors. Val wanted to protect Marlon Brondo's legacy n fought for it. Val is a great actor, who brings the intensity n tension into film.

@@deirdrekiely6187 it’s not a tube…it’s a stoma. There’s no tube there…that’s where his wind pipe exits now and he simply has to occlude the air to force it back up thru his esophagus and out thru his mouth. It’s still him speaking of course…just doesn’t have vocal chords now. He can be perfectly happy as is and can still communicate. The fact that he can’t eat not all I think is more difficult to deal with. He has to eat thru a feeding tube, which I’m Guessing can be very trying bc he doesn’t taste anymore bc the food of course doesn’t hit the taste buds thru a tube. The voice thing pales in comparison imho bc he can still speak.

This was and will be my favorite out of all of your roles. I was an actor. No training, no experience. I did extra work on SCIFI ZNation. I said no training. I lied. I watched your movies, your different characters, your facial expressions, your annunciation of lines, and your abilities. I had no lines, I made 100 dollars a day. I put everything I had into the characters, gave them back stories, and did my very best to perform, and learn all I could shove in my brain. Please see Season three Episode One. I am the masked man leading the Kracken. Not bad for a then 45 year old Air Force veteran. Thank you for your continued inspiration and motivation. Do not get the blues.
