Yes, I saw a wildlife documentary that said because Ellie's naturally travel great distances they spread the seeds of important plant life in their pooh with a wee package of fertiliser. Without them these plants would not be so widespread. We don't appreciate what damage we will do to an ecosystem when we kill off even one type of animal. Why oh why do people pay to ride these beautiful animals! They were not bred to have people on their backs. It's painful. Please can't we just stop this practice. It makes me sick to see this. Thank you for the rescue, it fills my heart that she was able to experience her bath in the river. So beautiful.

Hundreds of elephants abused yearly in Asia and India. It's extremely emotional and tragic. 😢 I cry when babies are born. They are so beautiful, and humans will destroy them.
