Exactly we wouldn't euthanize a human. There is so much good things for a dog. He would adapt to his human or humans. A life is a life life is life. So this dog would be guided by his sense of smell and using his nose or foot so he doesn't run into a bad spot. He probably would be sleeping in bed with his human... the dog by touch and memory wiĺ find his way around the house once he gets it done. It's a dogs memory and muscle memory. There paws help guide him. He is a special needs dog and needs more ❤️ attention. So he should goto a loving human that knows how to deal with his special needs possibly someone who has done that

Having spent over 20 yrs in animal rescue, we have a totally non-profit sanctuary i find i'm sceptical of adoptors. Ended up w/ a 3 page single spaced adoption application. People sometimes act on the spur

So happy about Buddha getting adopted. Right after I got confirmation from the Rescue I went back to all those who wanted an update and answered as many as I could, day after day, to let them know their prayers had been answered. Great to see the family who took him home.

Seeing animals find good homes always brings me joy. It's been over 9 months since I had to say good bye to my good dog, Forest. My heart is still a little sore, but I know another dog will find its way into my life. I have no issues other then I have to find one that gets along with a cat. Love and compassion go a long way to helping any animal. And I have to say I have never run into a bad pitty, just a bad owner.

I had a blind dalmtaion for 10 years, she was a sweety dog always. They need extra care, but they give an extra love. After my 14 years old dalmation male passed, it took only 4 months and she passed too. She had a brain colappes, but in my heart I think she died of sadness after loosing her best friend. God gave me them and I am feel luck!

When you know, you just know. We saw our Roxanne on Craigslist as "free" with only one picture of her cowering on the ground as man's hand was in the picture like she was scared she was going to be beaten. She was only 8 lbs and when my husband showed me the picture I after we had been looking for a couple of weeks, I said: Let's go get her before she is snake food or dog fight bait. We drove 2.5 hours and took her and the guy who gave her to us did not ask even one question about our intentions for her or her new living situation. She has been an amazing doggie, and I promise her every single day, I will be there on her last breath in this earth. Love my "Puppa Doggie", Roxanne Jane, "Roxy."

Wonderful news about Kobe! Don't underestimate your own actions with him in his success! By that I don't just mean giving him the right diet and having the surgery, etc, I'm talking about day-to-day home life. He's clearly _very_ happy, he obviously loves you all (I won't insult you by saying that the other way around. I mean, well duh!), and he feels safe, which for any blind creature - including humans - is up there when it comes to reducing anxiety. He trusts you so much that he accepts _everything_ you have to do with him. To say he's "chill" is an understatement! That takes a _lot_ of effort, on top of your love. Yes, he's a very special dog, of that there's no doubt (I'm talking a good 15/10!) but he's got a _very_ special family. That pup lucked out on having you decide to foster him, let alone make it permanent. As for the rest of the video, my heart was with you all the way through it, and I wanted to be able to reach around the planet to give those poor pups a lot of love. They are surely grateful for your love and attention - and your treats! And I couldn't be happier for Buddha! 💞💞💞💞💞

In my MUCH younger years I was an animal control officer her in Las Vegas. I loved my job. Of ALL the MANY jobs I've had in my life that was the job I dearly loved the most. And like you said, most days I was merely a person that most people did not want to see so it was a thankless job, but for all of the animals I saved it was soooooo rewarding to me. I love animals. I'm so glad that sweet blind pit got adopted so fast. My emotional support pet is my pit. I raised her from 5 wks old til now. She helps me deal with my PTSD. You do great work with all that you do. I love your enthusiasm & your great smile. You are a very sweet young man. 🐾💖🐾

Years ago I saw an ad in the paper from a shelter who highlighted a senior dachshund 12 years old , I went to the shelter and there was another dachshund in the same cell. I asked about the elderly dog and they told me that the previous owner would like the 2 dachshunds stayed together . Then they asked me if I had room for 2 dogs , I said room I have but not the budget because I came for 1 dog . So the volunteer talked to his boss and offered me to just pay the adoption fee for the 2 year old dog because they were glad that I wanted the elderly dog , it was a win win for both ways 😊

We have a blind golden. After she lost eye one, my inclination was to put her down! My wife said NO. I am glad that I listened. She is the best living thing around. She craves human contact, her tail is always wagging. An inspiration - 10 years old. Taught me a lot.

I love the wide eyed stare that blind animals have. My cat Smoke is blind and he does the same thing whenever someone calls him and when he walks around he stretches his feet out like that as well and like feels where he's walking

I'm so glad Buddha got adopted, my heart breaks for him. I miss my pitbull, and I have an extra soft spot for blind animals. If you get a chance, I would love to see a tour of the animal control vehicle. From what I see, it looks like animals are closed in an entirely dark box, like there's no lights inside. I really hope that's not the case, that would be terrifying on top of whatever lead them to that situation. LEDs are so cheap these days.

Love this video so much! We rescued a 80% blind dog about 3 months ago. We took Bo to an animal eye specialist and we’re willing to spend the $5000 for cataract surgery since Bo is just 5 years old. Sadly, his eyes are too far gone for surgery and he will continue to go completely blind. He is the most beautiful soul and so very loved. He loves to walk and swim in the river. He’s truly fearless and loves life every day! Thanks for all you do!🙏

My Coco girl is a pit and she’s blind. We got her as a tiny puppy and she’s been with us for 13 years. I don’t wanna say she’s the best dog in the world bc I have 2 other dogs and 5 grandpups 😅, but she’s amazing. She knows her way around better than me. That ol girl never ceases to amaze me 💙.

I don't see a blind dog i see a beautiful dog worthy of love and respect and a home and pit Schmitt he's a wonderful breed and very misunderstood and just needs a chance i have disabilities visual impairment ( severely low visioned)being one of them and people pass me up too cause of my wheelchair and I have autism so I get misunderstood for it and my Asd is high functioning not Rainman level and I understand special needs mutts im one too so buddah is just as precious as he can be to me and Kobe too and God bless you Rocky for what you and the others do for these furr babies ❤

There are so many great dogs in the shelter. My brother is wanting a french bull dog puppy but doesn't want to pay a breeders price. I told him to keep checking shelters as he may find one. Hes not in any hurry so its perfect. I suggested that he may be able to get the shelter to call him if some come in.

I have been DIYing my dogs food for years because of the lack of nutritious and SAFE dog food. After your promo about Sundays I decided to give it a try. I loved the ingredient list... no bad stuff! My dog INSTANTLY ❤❤❤ Sundays for Dogs! She can be picky about her food, but licks her bowl trying to get every bite of Sundays!! Other than their user UNFRIENDLY website I love it too!
