order 66 is a meme strat where you get a military access(or a faction) to a any country, positioning your troops on their victory points then cancelling the access or leaving the faction and justifying a wargoal on them(you have to constantly halt the divisions for them to stay in position so basically spamming the H button) it refers to how palpatine executed Jedi by calling all the stormtroopers all around the republic to station themselves and and execute after the order is given(declaration of war) and also use crappy divisions so that you garrison all theur provinces

@@prikolica3567 how to: 1. Get military Access 2. Put garrison order on all of the target country's victory points and ports 3. Justify on a country that the target order 66 country is guaranteeing 4. once you declare war and they join the faction, the target country will declare war on you and your troops will not be teleported away, resulting in order 66

“I am the senate.” is a (memed to death) line spoken by Chancellor Palpatine right before he dissolves the Republic and forms the Galactic Empire in Star Wars. So, maybe something to do with taking a democratic country and making fascist, or maybe staging a coup. Order 66 is the (also memed to death) order given by Chancellor Palpatine to the Clone Army to execute all the Jedi. So… maybe Angry Moustache Man related?

"Great news! Dark times ahead..." is more so a reference to the fact that some of the game files for news events and the like haven't been updated for a while, giving you those two (and contradictory) reactions to the news. I.e, I was playing as Russia (deposed the Soviets, reformed Tsarist rule) and the French commies took power (I set the game to non-historical). Previously before the Soviets got a more revamped focus tree with options to go non-communist, they were expected to always stay communist. So, when France became commie, I got the news event, and since the old game news event expected Russia to stay commie, I got the option "Great news!", but since the event checksum saw that I was non-aligned, it gave me the option to react with "Dark times ahead..." That's why it's there

Most other omitted things have been explained in the comments, but I didn't notice "German Coup" being explained. Germany has quite a lot of coup options through their focus tree and their mechanics which allow the player to set Himmler, Göring or even von Kluge as a country leader. The obvious one is picking "Oppose FunnyMoustacheMan" focus, but there are 2 more. If through a decision a fascist Germany player appoints Himmler as a field marshal a new mechanic of balancing SS and OKW contentment will be unlocked. Player will be able to recruit 2 SS divisions (that have no eq but full manpower), allow OKW to recruit personel (boosting manpower) or balance recruitment (recruit 1 SS division). Upsetting either side by backing another too many times will cause them to coup you and start a civil war. Another way to push Germany into civil war is "Oster Conspiracy". If Germany demands Sudetenland, but their demands are rejected by all other powers, decide to declare war on Czechoslovakia and not take Prague in a certain timeframe a civil war will break out between fascists and democrats. Also, there is 1 German coup option that isn't avaiable to Germans. If The Netherlands do monarchist they can try to boost monarchist influence in Germany and cause a civil war there with Wilhelm II acting as a Dutch puppet

order 66 is capitulating a country very fast by putting units in the country before declaring war. for example: ask italy for millitary acces, put a garrison order on italy and then declare on albania which italy guarantees.
