And my father was a pastor and still a pastor in the church gave my mother 11 kids and didn’t do nothing for us. We ended up in Forster care and homeless shelters while he was sleeping around with everyone.

Let’s not leave out how “some” or both men & women cheat, can both be abusive, and unfortunately, tend not to be committed to making marriage work, nor take time to learn about healthy financial management. I have opinion on this conversation, her grandma was very wrong. My told me I was fat which why I don't have a husband. When I was smaller I didn't have a husband. But basically told I can't be with someone outside my race. Black men aren't not attracted to me. My grandma also insinuate I was having sex, I was like with who. I was raised correctly without any guidance, rules or discipline. My women in my family are single mothers dealing with unhealthy trauma. Majority the women in my family, kidd father disappeared and didn't take off the kids. Yes, I'm also a single mom but my child's father takes care of our child. I realized I need heal all my childhood childhood trauma to have a successful relationship & marriage. Yes, I want give me hurry because I had to heal myself for myself my child my in my future husband and marriage. I currently abstinent until I get married, I actually have not met anybody I want to marry.

My brother met his soul mate & married just 5 days before he was 39. I was married at 20, widowed at 62. Only time I've lived on my own. I'd give anything to have my sweetheart back. But if you can give ALL your life to GOD, it's great. Stinks living without your life partner. However God fulfills all our needs & most wants so I can't complain but sometimes I still do. Grandma meant well, but it's a new day. If today's BW had to depend on BM, they would starve and die. I thank GOD these women have their own BAG, home, degree, business, bank accounts, etc.; and don't "need" a man. Back then, grandma couldn't get money, credit card, etc. without her husband signing. You can't depend on these "feminine" BM to do nothing these days. The best thing a woman can learn to do is NOT depend on a man for anything, and be INDEPENDENT!
