The following 2 albums, "Antics" and "Our Love to Admire" are also brilliant and definitely keep that dark, brooding, angsty vibe Interpol is known for but some of the songs are a bit more "accessible" and even commercial. All 3 are fantastic albums.

To be fair though, if the new bass player started moving around and jumping up and down or whatever, it would seem wrong, as if he was REPLACING Carlos. The new bass player is a LIVE member, not an official one. I think it'd look bad if the new bassist acted like 'the new Carlos D'. He's standing playing what he's been told to play, which is all we as an audience can ask for. Carlos D is an incredible bass player and I do hope he returns soon, irreplaceable.

Sunstria, Interpol sounds different because of the higher level of the current music producing. You can't compare classics of the eighty's to Interpol. They just doesn't sound like interpol.

Carlos does look a little bored playing bass in the later videos (including this one). He will be sorely missed as a part of Interpol and I hope he finds his way back to the band. Either way, it was nice seeing him smile after Letterman jumped onto their stage at the end.
