Very late upload. I messed up and should've timed this one better. That said, Triple H showed up during this run. Stephanie complimented him and he was on his way to becoming the final boss of the WWE. He had some great matches and programs with Mick Foley and The Rock, they brought out the best in him and helped make 2000 one of WWF's best years. What did you think of Triple H's title reign?

HHH's 3rd as WWF champion is one of WWE's most memorable runs in history. His classic wars with Rock and Foley while having McMahons and DX by side definitely catapulted Triple H into another level of superstardom and cemented his status as an certified main eventer and WWE's notorious top heel.

Imagine if he had a heel Shawn at his side or a face Shawn to fight. That would have been glorious. Of course, I know about the 2002-2004 feud, but I'm thinking what might have been if they moved that one to this time period.

This title run is really what cemented Triple H as a main eventer in the WWE going forward. The first two title reigns didn't do it; they felt like his push was forced. But this reign was what he needed and it made him a certified star. 2000 was really The Game's year (well, he and The Rock's to be specific)

This was where Triple H really came into his own and showed he could carry the WWF Championship in programs. It certainly didn't hurt that he had Mick Foley and The Rock as his main foils during this time too. It really felt like everything came together well looking back. Hopefully this get more likes so we can see you do the Rock's run with the championship too, but it really only continues the excellence and also if memory serves, reintroduces The Undertaker as the American Bad Ass.

This era alone should show the recent critics of hhh after his retirement that he was “more than a mid carder in the attitude era” as some ppl said. He came into his own as a heel character, adding on to his 99 run. I feel like hhh’s quad injury ruined him bc he felt like he was still the same wrestler from 2000 when he wasn’t

The only people who think triple h is a mid carder are the young ones who weren't alive or old enough to remember this era. They see him married to Stephanie and assume that's why he was so big. They don't realize he was already heading to be a top heel before him and Steph really started getting together. If he never married Stephanie, he would still be one of the greatest of all time. Especially one of the best heels. He may not be CEO or CTO, but he would definitely still be one of the best and probably still working with WWE in some capacity. People need to appreciate the game, he was really good. On the Mic and in the ring. Especially in 99 and on.

If austin and rock only ever fought each other during the attitude era, it wouldn't have been as great. The fire would've died out. Angle hhh jericho taker in the mix and rotating feuds kept rock and austin on fire when they weren't battling each other and it was the perfect mix of guys.

I haven’t watched this video yet but I already know it’s going to be good. I always ask people on KZbin how come HHH’s first big push isn’t documented as much as everything else. Also the HHH vs The Rock rivalry from 97-00. . That was literally the best time in wrestling history. No matter how you may feel about HHH he held it down while Stone Cold was out.

The issue is that most heels today are just as popular with fans as the babyfaces. They both get huge pops from the fans when they come to the ring so it's hard to tell who is who. Heels today are just more likeable if that makes any sense.

This title reign was godly but the Rock should have fought one on one with HHH at Wrestlemania and won. It might have saved Wrestlemania 2000. It's ironic how the most popular era in WWF/E history had some of the worst Wrestlemanias. The only good one was the last one. By good I mean awesome Wrestlemania. That being X7.

Let's be completely real here for a second, Foley is just a glorified stuntman who couldn't get over like a normal wrestler, he could only get over by damnn near killin himself literally, The McMahons just felt sorry for the bastard This is also when Big Shows career peaked!!! Yeahh he had title runs after but they only ever gave him the title when all the main stars were hurt and they needed someone loyal and could do the job whenever they needed him, other then that he was just another big man who only got a push because he was a big man Soo that brings us to the real stars of the match and company at the time Hunter and Rock....HHH may have slept and politic his wat to the top but you cannot fucking deny that he was an actual heel that was legit hated by everyone he had heat but it was never go away heat till the whole Authority shit......Rock well we all know what the Rock as a heel or face he was a fucking blast to watch especially as a kid.... What I'm gettin at is Shoe and Foley weren't fucking needed they were just threw in there so a mania could be different for a change because this time in WWE was kind of whack but had its moments
