A bit harsh on Luka although I do agree : he did only player GREAT defense during last year Playoff run (and it pays off, went to the final). But indeed, in this modern NDA you need to be in shape and ALL 5 guys work on defense. Otherwise, look at Harden, Simmons (sic), Embiid, LeBron (YES especially him), Lillard and all the other "offense-only" stars. They don't get any ring and therefore as a GM you don't want such players to create a TEAM around.

Luka is dad of all your favourites. Simply hater, thinking being clever. You are wrong everywhere...These are expectations, which means nothing - pure glass ball. Luka was favourite in this category just some year(s) ago, see now. Same will be with all others. Luka is best scorer, best point guard, best player, best passer, best rebounder amongst PGs, best most of the relevant categories... Anyone who plays with Luka get best stats in career and get noticed (PJW, Wood, Dinwiddie, ...) And by the way, Carmelo is much better among players than Colin among journalists. So, I wonder who can point who ....

Its not very bias. We have seen Luka for years now. Probably the best offensive player outside of Jokic. But he just refuses to show any kind of effort on the other end. Will not hustle for rebounds, he allows screens to take him out of plays. Shows no effort there. Your best player, your leader just can't do that
