Why wouldn't people believe that Bo is just starting? He's literally JUST STARTING! He just finished, what? Game 11? What we saw his senior season at Oregon, and in the NFL preseason, is what Bo actually is. He is a SURGEON! Now that he's comfortable and confident, it'll start opening up the run game. The Broncos can now pass to open up the run, opposed to the opposite which hasn't been working out.

I think it's natural that the media always try to compare QBs to other QBs that came before. Of course the natural comparison of Bo is Drew Brees because of Sean Payton. But to be sincere, Bo doesn't need to be Drew or Patrick Mahomes to become successful; he just needs to be the best version of himself. He doesn't need to do the off-platform throws every time he touches the ball, he doesn't have to throw bombs every play or throw the rock into tight windows. He just needs to get through his progressions and find the open guy, exploit the weakness of every defense. He is starting to do that; and as a Broncos fan, I'm glad all the appreciation some are starting to give him, but still people keep doubting him maybe because they never want to admit they're wrong. This kid is the Big Deal.

The people who knock Bo for the screen passes.... do you not watch football? Tom Brady was the master of the screen. Pat Mahomes throws tons of screens. It's part of the game now. Now that Sean Payton and co. have figured out how to use speedster Marvin Mims Jr? It throws a whole new wrinkle in that'll keep defenses honest. Key in on Mims and it'll open up someone else.

Who's better this QB or that QB? What's going to matter is who is still standing and throwing in January. Who makes the playoffs and who is home watching it. Bo is good and if he and the team can eek out a spot into the playoffs then right on. Otherwise it's one week at a time and that's it. Go Broncos!

There's a huge upside to plugging a very good quarterback out of college with a coach like Payton. There have been plenty of quarterbacks with amazing abilities left to wither with the wrong coach. Nix landed in the perfect place to develop his talents. Once the Broncos get past their salary cap hell, they are going to be very, very good!

Here's the crazy thing about Bo.... yes, he's surgical, but he can also do the off script stuff as well! The kid has crazy athleticism for what he is. If he would've ran at the combine, he probably would've been drafted higher.

People are allowed to have strong opinions. Colins not the only one with hat takes. Everybody has takes that age like milk, but some actually get it right before anyone sees what they see. Ive been saying nix was the best qb in the draft since october of last year and most people laughed at me and insulted me for it. Their main point was that he was old 24, and he spent 6 years in college and his freshman year at auburn was terrible. I saw a guy that was confident, not cocky, running a pro style offense with rediculous precision. And its starting to look like ive been right since oct 12th of last year

Nix, Maye, Daniels, McCarthy, etc, potentially could turn out to be the best draft class in a decade, or not. It is still too early to know which one will emerge as the best of the bunch, but understandable why coaches like Harbaugh and Payton make a living out of installing confidence into their qbs. Payton is not as interested in being perceived as a great prognasticator as he is in getting the most out of his developing qb.
