I don't see many putting a actual score on the builds, so I will fill in on the score I gave. Starting with Grian. Diversity: 2 The dragon cannot save the fact that the entire building is one part. Complexity: 3 The way he managed to make the entire build look like it all worked logically is worthy of praise, and the many different shapes used to give an impression of balance is very impressive. Defense: 4 Dragon. Need I say more? Stability: 4 See complexity section. Livability: 5 It is actually a house, so it is the most livable (excluding the dragon). Value: 3 Nice house, but repairs and strong winds would be a nightmare. Amusement: 2 Most of the house is the same thing, so the few new things like the dragon and catapult don't help much. Fear Factor: 4 Dragon. Total: 27 points Scar Diversity: 4 Not as many parts as Iskall, but still highly diverse in the various parts. Complexity: 4 The core of the build is made of the beanstalk of death, but it still looks like the entire build flows logically from one part to the next. Defense: 5 World eating flytrap that spits acid, is a wizard, has a laser, and has a cannon on its head. Need I say more? Stability: 3 The entire build is supported by a beanstalk, and the entire build feels very front loaded, making the balance feel off. Livability: 1 The entire build is supported by a radioactive world eating plant. How is one meant to survive this, or even enter the house? Value: 2 Radioactivity drops value drastically, if not entirely due to scientific value of Scara. Amusement: 4 Scara is the second most amusing plant I have ever seen, as it is a wizard. Fear Factor: 5 World Eating Wizard plant with lasers and cannons. Total: 28 points Iskall Diversity: 5 Have you seen this build? Complexity: 4 The sheer number of working parts put together makes the build very complex, but the magnet moon is the driving factor here. How does one make a magnet that size pull the moon out of orbit without destroying the build? Defense: 1 The few attacks he made were mild in nature and did very little to deter the other three contestants. Stability: 2 Aquariums are not going to hold up the moon and the penguin of death, so the entire build should have collapsed. Livability: 3 The bottom of the build is an aquarium, so getting into the house is nearly impossible, but the Empire State Building is livable, so it counts. Value: 3 That penguin might make it difficult, but the moon is incredibly valuable for scientific study. Amusement: 5 Dabbing Penguin. Fear Factor: 2 The moon could collapse the build any minute, but nothing else screams "Run Away Now," there is little to fear from this build. Total: 25 points Scar wins by 1 point in the tally, but Mumbo wins in our hearts.

as a build I too prefer scar's build for it's variety without feeling like it's just random. But as a house its very unfunctional you could only live in the rocket or the tiny castle. Iskall on the other hand has a bit too much randomness and inconsistency to really be charming as a hole but every part is funny, original and well built, and there seem to be more livable structures in there. but it just doesn't really feel like one piece. Grian on the other hand has a very beautiful stylish tower that is only house (to live in). it has way less major original ideas but people seem to forget the crane, catapult and boxing glove. his build therefor is the most consistent, he stayed within the style he picked at the start, something that Iskall's house very much doesn't. in the end they all have picked very different ways to go about this and I really don't think we can determine a winner

Personally for me I liked grians build the most, purely for they aesthetics. Scars tells a fun story with it and is impressive, but personally I’m not the biggest fan of non-terraforming organic builds. (so I’m also eh about the grian dragon) Iskall’s is Just a hilarious mess and I love it. Grians house just feels like the only one that stands on its own without context. It’s just a crazy fun concept done well.

I actually agree with your final judgement. Scar's build tells a whole long complex story by itself and is coherent within its own realms. Grian's build makes the most sense but it's mostly just house growing taller with details on the side and dragon near the end while Iskall's build is just pure randomness.

lets be honest: It was certainly no coincidence, that they tied in the final voting. They probably spoke bevore the voting and agreed, that Scar gives Grian one point more than Iskall, Grian gives Iskall one more than Scar and Iskall gives Scar one point more than Grian. Which in total results in a tie. Just assume, they would not have tied: It would have resulted in a giant community batte ala "Scar should have given Grian more points in this category", etc...

Grian has the tallest house because of the lab beneath the ground, which is something neither Scar nor Iskall have in their favor. HOWEVER, if we're taking physics into account (anvils), then Grian's house would have fallen over/apart long before the dragon arrived. He's lucky Minecraft has no building codes.

I'd say scar is the winner. His building is the most detailed, the most worked on, the most interesting to see, and has the most satisfying storyline. Mumbo's rocket was a bit cheaty imo, iskall was just a; alright, this didnt work, so im going to build this... then this... then this... there was almost no continuity or set style, and then griam, despite how cool the house, the dragon, and all the things he's brought along it, like the crane, the catapult, the globe, etc, is just really plain, not interesting to see for more than 2 minutes. My pick is Iskall, who technically had the tallest build, and also had a build that told the most coherent (yet incoherent) story. Everything in Scar's is amazing and, well, reads as a giant plant with a cloud castle, but Iskall's build is the whole story of the build-off. The building with the anvil on it that brought the balloon house down, now underwater in the fish tank that supports the skyscraper where the giant magnet caught the moon and the moonbase. ...and a dabbing penguin. That *literally* put it over the top. ;P

I voted Grian because he is the only one who could legitimately use a fence post for extra height. Iskall's build has added glass panes which are not apart of his penguin, and Scar can only use yellow concrete for extra height to stretch it. Grian: 1st, Scar: 2nd, and Iskall: 3rd

I think Scar's build is the coolest because it's the most detailed, so I would want to give him the win. But I also really like the idea of a consistent house that is just ridiculously tall. Iskall's house is really funny and quirky, which fits Hermitcraft so well. It's really hard to decide for sure who should win, but I think I have to give it to Scar in the end because it just has so much time, effort, and care in it (not that the others look bad).

I feel like scar for quite a bit seemed to do his build quite similar to grian where he would just add more plant to scara when he lost, the difference being that he did always try to add or change someting like the fly trap, the eyes and the wizard. and to me the dragon is as little out of space as the beanstock cloud and castle. Grian's build is very "medieval fantasy" and I think a dragon fits in perfectly in that setting. Yes the house is made of wood, but the dragon is probably not going to burn the thing it's currently resting on, and even then the dragon doesn't have to be friends, maybe it's an evil dragon that likes hanging on the build. Scara technically did noting good to the rocket, in fact half covers it and some of that biting fluid might drip on it as well, leaving alone the radiation. I'm not saying Grian should win, in fact I think the tie is almost the only way to solve this. I just felt you went in on him a little hard for unjust reasons

Complexity - Scar - Heck I cannot build any type of organics and Scar's plant looks amazing, and also Grian has a dragon too which I love but Scar's plant I feel is more complex cuz of ALL THE THINGS SCAR ADDED TO IT, I MEAN. SCARA'S A FREAKING WIZARD??? Defense - Scar - He has a man eating plant, who's a wizard, and spits acid....and also a canon and laser beam... Stability - Uhh Scar? - I guess plants are pretty stable, right? (Honestly I had no idea who to give this to but Scara seems pretty stable?) Livability - Grian - because his actually looks like a house somewhat livable house.... Value - I have to give it to Grian, because I think without the dragon someone would actually buy it, heck in a fantasy world maybe a dragon tamer would buy it! Amusement - Iskall. no words Fear Factor - Heck gotta give it to Scar! I've already said it why on the defense! So for me Scar wins! and I'll be honest, I got into Hermitcraft from Grian, and I haven't watched many other hermits YET(I have started watching Zed and am planning to watch more hermits!) I also LOVE dragons, so I would have thought I would give the win to Grian but honestly Scar's is just- like- HE HAS A FREAKING STORY TO GO ALONG WITH THIS MESS AND IT'S FREAKING AMAZING! I love random stories- even if it just doesn't make any sense(in a good way) and Scar has made a story around his build that just amazes me and I love it. Mumbo was in the boat when he reached the build limit. He was highest if you don't put the 1 minute where the last three competitors built then destroyed wood fences with boats on them.

Mumbo and RenBob weren't at build limit when the build off ended, so they lost, Scar is one block short, so he also lost, and Iskall build a dabbing penguin, which means Grian is by default the winner

It was originally a race to build limit so MumboJumbo won because when you reach the finish the race is over. Then the game changed to who builds the most insane house. Here Mumbo didn't really compete, so either scar or Iskall won. Grian only really had his dragon.
