I liked this series. The explanations were very clear and easy to understand for anyone new to AoS. One point of improvement however is not to lock examples in a game context entirely behind a paywall. As the series got on a bit it felt like it became more of an advertisement and seeing rules in action is part of the learning process. Maybe for next time you still keep some of it behind a paywall but give a little example at the beginning to give people a taste of what its like. Loved the series tho, keep up the good work

Really appreciate everything this channel does for the new warhammer aos/40000 players who are new to the game and just starting and wanting to learn how to play the game correctly. I recommend this channel and its content to any warhammer fan new or old to the game. These guys are a life saver to getting started playing!!!

as a new aos player i came to a unclear with friend - can you use hero abilities and spells, during hero phase if the hero is still in combat?

Yes you can. While the hero is technically preoccupied with beating the heathen in front of them, they're ""more trained" than the normal rank'n'file and can still do so. Same rules still apply for command abilities (having a command point to actually spend) and spells (meeting your casting value for success). Hope that helps!

i didn't say that the model line was back, i only said you could use them in AoS so technically they ARE back. and, i DID find them on the website. maybe i should have said it differently, but i didn't lie. that, and you don't have to be an asshole.

Adrian J. Yeah I got really excited then, I know they got discontinued along with Bretonnia. We’ll only see them with the made to order (and they’ve just done TK) They resembled things that are too similar to real life on Earth (being ancient Egyptians and 14th century France) where as everything else really in sigmar now are fantasy creatures etc

Why didn't you talk about celestial points and celestial summoning? Some people played 1st edition of AoS and wonder what is that thing that replaced Summon spells.

because only one faction uses celestial points and every faction that can summon has a different system

Like Khorne has the Bloodtide points I believe they are called however aside from that there are "standard" summon mechanics like with the Slaan and the rest of Seraphon where essentially if you have the unit in your army list you can summon it, so theoretically a Seraphon army could start out very small turn 1 with about 4 units min then if the Slaan is just allowed to keep summoning it could snowball out of control as Troglodons, Scar Veterans, Temple Guard, etc. just start to dogpile into any fights going on because the Slaan summoned them in a spot where they have a easy charge.

@@TheFearsomeRat yes but the standard summoning of Seraphon where you just throw the dice was switched with celestial summoning. And Khorne also has celestial summoning now.
