I just wanted to say thank you. I recently passed the entrance exam, and this video has given me a little more insight, as well as a bit of direction as to how I should proceed.

Hello, I'm currently 16 and really, really want to become a police officer. But unfortunately I was born completely deaf in my left ear. I have a Baha implant that allows me to hear out of my left ear again, but not as good as hearing, my right ear is completely fine, do you think I can be turned down for this? I am very dedicated, even taking a year 11 course working with the police force and am hoping the course helps me and gives my application that I plan to submit when I'm 18 that extra boost.

You should submit a voluntary disclosure form Jack, the recruiting people will then let you know if this is going to be an issue or not.

Hey mate was just wondering, if I were to tick all those aspects as best I could, do you think my age will be a significant factor???? I’m 18 and feel confident I can do well just not sure if I will be turned down due to a lack of experience. Keep in mind I have worked travelled play team sports and volunteer in the community . Thanks a lot keep up the great vids

Age is not relevant if you can meet the requirements. An applicant with more life experience MAY be able to offer better quality answers; may.

Hey mate I had a seizure in 2017 it says online I have to wait 10 years is there any way I could get a letter from my neurologist saying I’m fine to join?

Hey Youssef. Police forces generally have generic rules, but, if you could create a compelling argument, with the help of your neurologist, you never know! Good luck ;) 👍
