Gallagher Head Lake - I've hiked, backpacked, and scrambled in the area. Mt. Stuart is unmistakeable from your drone shot. Pretty little lake. You were driving up an old mining road.

It's a beautiful spot. I wish I'd had time to go up to the closest mine, since it looked like it had a good view up there.

We all know that the camera flattens things out, so when we see incline shots like those around 6:16 - 7:00 it must have been steeeeep. Good job of keeping the tundra in the background of the shot as the Bronco climbed, really helped demonstrate the challenge!

@@I275westflorida there are many trails leading up to Gallagher lake that I found on Gaia pretty fast. Not sure exactly which this one is but why try to keep it a secret?

@@PLxFTW as Tim said above its getting very busy and Washington state is closing trails left and right so its really that as a main reason. Like you did and said if someone wants to they can easily find this trail on any app or maps.

An interesting drive to beautiful scenery. Drone shots provide a good overview of the trip but I find that the drone based scenic shots tend to oversell the area since they are not what you see from the ground. I would rather see the place from eye level than bird’s eye level.
